Great value for money! Close to Canterbury , shops a five minute walk at the most and pubs and restaurants even less. We stayed in the garden room which felt bright and airy and it was lovely to sit in the garden with a glass of wine.. This isn't a pub anymore so there wasn't anyone to welcome us which wasn't a problem.. But breakfast had friendly staff and tasty food.. Our only small problem was getting our key code as we booked last minute, but after a phone conversation it was sorted straight away. Haar hulp daarentegen was vriendelijk ook al kende ze de taal niet goed. De kamer was verder gewoon wat je verwacht dus goed ##### michael Séjour de 1 nuit en août 2023 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Mike 13 août 2023 Points forts : Propreté, état et installations de l’hébergement Points faibles : Service et personnel The room was fine, the guy on reception (although new and not very experienced) was fine - my only issue was that the pub was closed the night we stayed - and I wasn't expecting that.... it would appear the pub is only open certain nights of the week and that is not made clear on their site... also parking is a bit of an issue as everywhere around is permit parking only. The location was excellent (close to the town center, easy to reach the university, close to the train station) and the hosts were very hospitable and easygoing! We stayed in the garden suite and really enjoyed the access to the garden from our room, which was also very comfortable.
