The property which boasts both front and back gardens, Canterbury Cathedral views, 2 bedrooms, traditional decor and all mod cons sleeps up to 4 adults (+Z bed) is one of the very few cottages in the middle of Canterbury which is also pet friendly. Please note that, as is typical in cottages of this type, the stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms though we do have handrails. Emplacement idéal. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Parking inclus dans la location et facile d'accès. Le point à ameliorer est la propreté du logement. Ménage certainement fait rapidement entre chaque locataire. De plus nous sommes restés 9 nuits sur place et nous n'avions pas d'aspirateur à disposition. Le cottage est décoré avec goût. Les propriétaires souhaitent vraiment que leurs visiteurs se sentent bien : ils ont pensé au moindre détail, il ne manque rien. The location is fantastic and every appliance in the cottage worked without fault. We felt very happy and comfortable during our month-long stay with our son and daughter-in-law and granddaughter from Germany. The only downside - which has nothing to do with the accommodation or lovely landlord - was that I parked my car in Canterbury High Street, Best Lane car park. I paid JustPark to park my car for a month and I would not recommend this to anyone. The parking spaces are very tight and someone hit my car causing considerable damage and just drove off. As there is no CCTV surveillance of the actual parking spaces, I cannot find out who the culprit was. This was a disappointing end to the holiday but did not spoil our stay in beautiful Canterbury. Close to the cathedral and city centre but very quiet and absolutely charming.There is a lovely garden out front and a deck with a BBQ and back yard out back. The downstairs has a living room, dining room, sun-filled kitchen, and bathroom with shower. There are two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with tub and shower upstairs.There is a Waitrose just around the corner for all of your shopping needs.Do visit the cathedral and abbey and take the opportunity to attend choral evensong at 5:30 pm. Die Lage war perfekt, ruhig, aber die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, ein Waitrose und ein Tesco Express ebenfalls. Dazu organisiert der Vermieter im Vorhinein einen überwachten Parkplatz, der nur 200 m entfernt ist, so dass man sich darum nicht kümmern muss. Bei der Ausstattung hat nichts gefehlt, alles war wie beschrieben bzw. noch besser (ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck, zwei Kaffeemaschinen, Wasch- und Spülmaschine etc.). Alles ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Wir haben uns direkt nach der Ankunft sehr wohlgefühlt und über dieses herrliche Feriendomizil gefreut. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war großartig, sehr schnelle Reaktion, alles ganz unkompliziert und mehr als hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Kurzurlaub, wir kommen alle gerne wieder! ##### Ursula M.
