"Given that this was our first visit and we didn’t know Venice at all, I feel we were very fortunate and landed in a really special place in choosing to stay at Ca’ Vendramin Zago. It’s a beautiful historic palazzo which we found to be in the perfect location for us as it was away from the crowded locations but near to everything we wanted to visit also with some lovely discoveries in the immediate area. It was so quiet and peaceful too. The beauty of the building inside and out added to our experience and also the amazing staff who were warm, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Nicola, Alessandro and Michaela. The hotel was immaculate and we had all we needed for a very comfortable stay. I am dairy free and this was catered for. I would love to return to Venice and if we do would definitely choose to stay here again."

"We loved the balcony with the beautiful view. We loved the large comfortable bed. The decor was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The only issue was a leak in the ceiling, it wasn't a big deal to us but we wanted staff to be aware, and they looked into it immediately. There wasn't really much they could do on the spot and it didn't really affect us except hearing the dripping in the night. It was easy to avoid and they placed towels to soak it up. Otherwise the property was wonderful and the included breakfast was nice. "

"The best part of this hotel was its proximity to the train station. Venice is not easy to get around with luggage so I specifically sought out a hotel where we wouldn't have to walk far once arriving. However, once you drop your luggage off, the hotel is close to anything you'd want to do in Venice. It was about a 20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco (which you should see and then leave) but there's so much to do on the way, you will surely stop and eat, drink, and shop along the route. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was good. Our room was off of an alley and didn't have a view but that's what you get when you book it as a last minute travel change. The room was pretty hot over night, the air conditioning didn't really seem to work. We slept with the windows open and it was fine. I would definitely come back and stay here again, though I'd pay more for a room with a view. "

"Nice location, walkable distance from some reference points in venice, not far from the Canalgrande public transportation. Very well kept and comfortable common areas. Not exciting the swimming facility, but well kept. Very kind reception and service persons. Good for families, great attention and tolerance with children."
