Silver Creek Lodge

We loved having the 2 bedroom suite for our family of 4 and being able to cook in the full kitchen and being able to relax in the living room. We called ahead to ask if our van with ski carrier on top would fit in the underground parking and the front desk clerk was not able to help us. We ended up not taking it along and it made for a bit of a headache with 4 sets of cross country skiis and 4 sets of skiis and all our gear in the back of the van. Upon arrival, we saw many vans with ski carriers on top so we would have fit not problem. It would have been nice if the front desk clerk had been more informed. I was disappointed with the cleanliness upon arrival. The microwave was splattered with pasta sauce. The floor seemed dirty and the little table with room phone had dirt under the glass and a few splatters on the glass that we cleaned. Also, there was no notepad or pen left by the phone. Our biggest disappointment was that both hotel hot tubs were out of service, indefinitely. This was a family ski holiday so a hot tub would have been wonderful! Unfortunately, the hot tub at Elevation Place (Canmore Rec Centre) was also out of service indefinitely! Otherwise, the suite was enjoyable!

great place to stay, not so much sound isolation for the room but they have quite hour rule so works out.
