The location is amazing. When we were there the hot tub was closed for cleaning (my son was not happy about that). I wish I had read the fine prints and stayed there on a different day.

Adorable motel right on the main strip of Camore. Park right at your door and walk to shop, stop to eat or hit uo a grocery store. Bathroom could use a fan for ventilation. After showering absolutely everything was soaked in the bathroom.

The room was pretty good for the price. However, the staff is really rude! Before checking in, I messaged the staff to tell them that I will be paying the deposit at the hotel, I told them the time I will arrive, but only get a “okay” as response. When checking in, the front desk lady was making a extremely long phone call and I had to wait for more than 20 minutes. It didn’t bother me at first but after I finished check in I said thank you so much but only got a “okay”. What does that even mean? It makes me feel that me checking in has bothered her and she doesn’t want to talk to me. After I get into my room, I asked politely if I could borrow a spare microwave to heat up some leftovers. The front desk staff replied with a cold message “unfortunately we don’t have any spare microwave”. No microwave is understandable, but she could’ve said “Sorry we don’t have any”. she could’ve also invited us to use the microwave in the reception or just explain politely that microwave is for staff only. This is not a cheap motel, I think I deserve a friendly and polite customer service experience . However, all I feel from the customer service is cold and impatient.

It was a nice property however with no staff on site the guest run wild. Loud screaming and banging in room and in courtyard/parking lot to all hours of the night. I had a person(s) banging on the door saying I was in the wrong room and trying to punch codes in the door lock. Would not visit again

Had a great stay at the Lamphouse. Very comfortable and clean. Right I’m downtown. Nice hot tub area. Liked having the fan in the room. Refrigerator and microwave was a plus. Good hot water. More than one hand towel would be good. Only suggestion is to paint the big cinder block wall above the rooms by the restaurant. Paint it lamphouse dark gray and have it say “Lamphouse”.

I’ve stayed here before and always had a great experience. But this time, the hot tub is closed every Sunday morning for cleaning, which would be nice to know before you book. You can only access the ice machine when the front desk is open, which is very limited (closes at 4pm). The bath tub was not clean, there’s no fan in the bathroom. and it was extremely noisy being near the stair case and hot tub

Room was good after we asked for coffee as there wasn’t any in room, unfortunately the coffee maker was amazingly difficult to operate as the instructions were warn out… Everything else was great for the price very reasonable.

The whole establishment overall was very nice. I belive our door was the only one where the paint was all chipped off and looked trashy. The heat in the room was turned off but it was very warm, so good thing there was windows to open. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing but I dont like being asked to put the cover on as I dont t feel thats my responsibility as a paying customer. Im here to relax and not do the motels job. Otherwise we were very happy with everything. Thank you kindly.

The motel is really cute and the rooms are nicely done up. The location is prime, best in town as it is right on the Main Street and is walkable to everything, so that was very convenient. Check in and out was easy and seamless. The only downside was the old plumbing. It sounded like water was running or sloshing all night long very loudly, and anytime someone in the rooms next-door/downstairs would use the water, it sounded like the pipes were right in the room with you. It was very loud. Other than that, the location was amazing, the hotel was cute. Nice little hot tub. Maybe just bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
