Fully renovated October 2013\. A great spot for getting together family or friends. One of four rental units (see VRBO Listing #'s 914871, 914873 and 914875 for details on the other three units) set in a large private yard, just steps from a world famous beach. Privacy when you want it and ideal for visiting with each other. Large, lush private yard, shaded my coconut palms and almond trees. 14'x 18' gazebo houses charcoal grill and tables. Hammocks, wireless internet, local cell phone provided for your stay. Safes, hair dryers, blenders and ipad docks in units. Backup generator ensures power supply is continuous. Beach chairs and coolers provided. The cottage is enchanting and serene, with ample space. The cottage has a screened in dining area, living area, kitchenette, bathroom, a ceiling fan in every room, and an air conditioned bedroom with a comfy queen-sized bed. Tropical decor and tiled floors throughout add to the charm of the cottages. A professional maid service cleans each cottage every three or four days. My overall impression of the property is that it is very clean and well maintained. Our hosts did all the arranging for our rental car and cab from the airport, which I highly recommend should you get into Cane Garden Bay after sunset. The mountain roads can be a bit treacherous after dark to someone unfamiliar. Also, the hosts were extremely responsive for the minor issue (a broken beach chair), that was quickly resolved. We stayed in Cottages 1&2 and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The cottages were well appointed, perfectly situated, and everyone was helpful, friendly and informative. We have often visited CGB by boat but really wanted to enjoy the beach. Unfortunately it rained all weekend but we were so comfortable and felt at home. A fantastic experience!! ##### Gregory C. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Sergiy P. 28 mars 2020 Points forts : Propreté #### very good in every way Unfortunately our visit coincided with the coronavirus pandemy, while BVI government was issuing travel restricting orders impacting our plans, but our host, Samantha, always kept us updated about the changing situation, and it helped us staying out of troubles. About the cottage itself: we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. From the description it was not clear if the cottage was suitable for more than 2 people. If you have the same question: we were staying in #1, and there was a sofa bed in the living room converting into a queen size bed. So, the cottage can accomodate up to 4 people. One advice: there are mosquitos outside in the evening, so make sure you keep the door closed. The windows are protected with nets, and we were leaving them open overnight to have a fresh air.
