Très bien mais sans surprises…
Le Westin est une valeur sûre. Même le parfum du hall d’entrée est reconnaissable entre 1000. Seul bémol j’ai trouvé qu’un canapé et une table serait les bienvenus dans la chambre qui était immense !! Ça faisait un peu vide, la petite table amovible permettant à peine de poser mon ordinateur..

This property was exactly what we were looking for. A quick, stress-free getaway. We endured a 90 minute time share presentation to ear resort credit (which we used for a nice massage!). The pressure to TAKE the presentation were stronger than the push of the sales team to make us purchase the 'ownership' option (it's not for us, we typically do adventure-based exotic, new-destination travel). they delivered what they promised in terms of incentive. We were housed in a part of the resort that was quiet, with direct access to the ocean. Clearly, the highlight of our experience was our dining at Arena- not the food per se- but the loving attention I received from Alesandro, who provided me an (off the menu) option for a broth, carrot, veggie and shredded chicken option to help with my bad stomach issue). His care for me was touching and memorable. All in all, a great stay.

We checked in pretty early, still breakfast time. I had to pay for breakfast even though I paid extra to get breakfast included. But check in date was not included… what!? As I was checking in I was commenting I wanted to have breakfast and was excited to start vacation with a nice breakfast. Why wasn’t that communicated as I was checking in. Communication was horrible!!! Then our 2nd day having breakfast I had to pay for 1 of the 3. I get charge per person on the room but only given 2ppl breakfast.. what!! Also was not communicated at check in. Embarrassing having to pick and choose which one of us was going to skip breakfast for the day. I was told gym was on the 3rd floor. Walks up and down the 3rd floor… NOTHING. There was hair on the bathroom tub, disgusting.

My family enjoyed the stay in April 2024 very much. The staff is attentive, the hotel has many good amenities and the beach is wonderful. This being not the first stay at this property and Cancun in general i was unpleasantly surprised by the pricing for food and drink. Simple foods like tacos, pizza and chips for 2 with no alcohol goes to 70 - 80 US dollars at this hotel. This is way too much even for the Unoted Stated.

Gorgeous beach area. Perfect for jumping waves. Lovely pool as well. We were unfortunately not impressed by the food (flavourless pizza and over drenched nachos), but we understand that people have different tastes. We were also a little flabbergasted by the price of food and drink. It seemed excessive for what it was. ~$30usd for a single person’s breakfast buffet was a bit out there.

Pro-The property was nice and clean . Beautiful location . Cons-Also the location since it is at the very end of the hotel area. Breakfast (not included) opens at 6:30 . If we book a tour then the bus will be there by 6:30 and you have to skip the breakfast. They keep 2 packets of coffee and we were 4 people staying and when asked the housekeeping staff mentioned that they will give only 2 packets every day after insisting that we had to leave early next day for the tour then they delivered another 2 packets of coffee Next day same thing happened. We stayed there for 5 days and out of which we had booked the tour for 4 days and all 4 days we had to skip the breakfast to catch the tour bus. There’s a frequent local bus service which goes around the town but since the property is located very far away it takes minimum 20 minutes to get to the restaurant area ( There are 2 restaurants inside the property ) we wanted to try other options. DoorDash or Uber eats don’t deliver since it is far away. Everything is very expensive including the coffee at Starbucks inside the market located inside the property. If you are going to stay in the resort enjoying all the amenities and beaches then go for it . But if you are going to take tours and want to explore local places then choose the other hotels located centrally.

The staff was amazing and the housekeeping was fantastic! However, the south building is in desperate need of renovation! The room smelled mildewy and the bathroom needs immediate help. The tub had been repaired, but the repair was peeling, and the shower floor had non-slip strips with sharp edges. In some areas, only the glue remained. We told the concierge, but nothing was done during our short stay. Where we stayed in the south building was quite a hike to the front desk and restaurants. The staff often transported us in golf carts and they were super! There were high-quality food options on-site. We ate at the Arena Grill, Sea and Stones, and at the breakfast buffet..Everything was delicious, but expect to pay U.S. prices. The drinks were very expensive. No cash is accepted, only credit cards or put it on the room tab. There are some incentives, such as free Starbucks and 2 free drinks at Sea and Stones. The location was safe and quiet, and we enjoyed our balcony, choice of 3 pools, and the beach. Westin provides towels, umbrellas, and loungers. It was a great vacation overall, but we avoided the room except to sleep and shower because it was not up to par. We'd go back to Cancun, but not to the Westin until it is fully renovated.

I'd like that the property is so big it never felt crowded. Really enjoyed the pools and the ocean in the beach were absolutely stunning. The staff was all very kind, respectful and friendly. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Coffee was great. I will definitely come back again.

The hotel is located on the south part of the hotel’a ave about 10 min away from the main tourist zone, which means that is a more quiet area. However there is a bus stop right at the entrance to the hotel property so you’re able to go anywhere on the hotel zone. The hotel restaurants are on the expensive side but the things that I ate were really good with big portions. The pool water is always warm but i wish the pool was a little deeper. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Checked in and checked out without a problem.

The beaches and pools were nice. I should have paid for it at booking. I lost an additional $25 dollars in the hotel’s conversion rate from dollars to pesos and there was a $23.12 charge at check-in that did not show up on my receipt so I’m not sure what that hidden charge is for. The concierges are timeshare salespeople, which I didn’t care for. They tried to offer me $150 hotel credit or 20,000 Marriott points to listen to a 90 minute presentation. Definitely watch out for hidden charges.

Excelente Hotel. Todo personal es muy atento. Limpieza excelente. Los colchones muy comodos. Las albercas limpias. La playa con vista espectacular. Asi como la vista a la laguna. Muy seguro. Aunque No tenia el plan todo incluido. Los alimentos de los Restaurantes son muy sabrosos. La unica propuesta es la que ajusten sus tiempos de check in a las 3 pm y de check out a las 12 hrs. Como en la mayoria de los hoteles. Ya que afecta al huesped al quitarle 3 hrs.; Seguro regresaremos. Gracias

Best value for the money on the hotel strip. Great transportation on the red bus. Rooms large and quiet. Staff were very friendly and professional. Nice beach front and pools. The only weak point is no exhaust in bathroom and round cylinder tap handles that are hard to grip. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The facilities are maintained and you have access to the beach, however, the pools require better maintenance. The cleaning service in the rooms is very good. The location is not the best if you want to access restaurants and shops. You feel isolated and forced to do all activities with the hotel due to insecurity. I think it must be better to stay in the middle of the hotel zone. It's not bad but it's not the best either.
