This was an awesome place to stay!! Beautiful beaches, very quiet, close to downtown. Very clean. One bedroom contains two full beds & a sofabed. Resort has a pool with lounge chairs & is on the beach. We rented our unit from the owner for three nights. So it feels like borrowing an apartment from a friend, if the apartment was immaculately clean and right on the beach. Just be aware that there is no conventional "check-in" procedure and there is no housekeeping service during your stay. (The housekeeper who gives you the keys doesn't speak much English, so knowledge of a few Spanish words is helpful.) The owner is terrific: I didn't meet her but we spoke on the phone. Your stay includes use of the facility pool. Perfect beach location, nice clean property. Not noisy, not crowded, very nice. Not one of these mega hotels with crowded front desk and a lot of people on the beach. It is not a hotel room, it is a small apartment, with kitchen, fridge, and other small appliances, like a toaster, coffeemaker, etc. Flat screen TV with some channels in English. Little convenience store and cafeteria on the property, bus stops just in front of the entrance to the property. Entrance is guarded. Couple restaurants and another convenience stores in a walking distance, but if you want more of the restaurants, you can take a bus or a taxi, and you will be in the hassle and bustle within 20 minutes (I mean the northern area of Zona Hoteliera). No front desk or room service, but I was there only for 3 nights, and I did not care that my bed was not made. I would stay there again any time if the price is competitive. The staff was nice and friendly, although they do not speak English. There was a bit too much seaweed on the beach, it was not picked up like in front of the other hotels.
