The moment we arrived we were treated so wonderfully. Edgar at the front desk made check-in very easy and continued to ensure that our stay was perfect through the week. Casanova at St-Trop was magnificent. Gerardo at Zandos was always smiling! Isa was wonderful and helped us with our excursion... such a sweet and friendly lady, i enjoyed chatting with her :) Esteban at the Japanese restaurant was incredible at putting on a show while cooking delicious food. Abraham and the entertainment staff were so fun and kept everyone in such a good mood. ALL the staff were always working so hard and so incredibly warm and friendly ... The resort was beautiful... the beach is spectacular and well kept, always clean. And the food/drinks were delicious I will recommend this place for anyone looking for a great vacation

The property overall was nice but needs a refurbishment. The rooms have dated furniture. The food was average. We were traveling with teenagers and there were no options for snacks, other than a pizza bar at the pool. There are no snacks provided in the room. There is no place to just grab a quick bite, other than the pool bar (which is sit down) or room service. Although poolside service was great, the drinks were not. Poor quality and just average. People reserve cabanas at like 5 AM!!! so there are never any to be had unless you wake up early. We had to get the concierge to book us dinner res as the app told us there were none available, even though there were open seats in restaurants. No omelet or egg station at the buffet. My kids did not like the buffet for lunch or dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool activities guys were great and helped to keep my kids occupied and active.

Love this resort, smaller means knowing activities staff, bar staff, restaurant's staff, hotel staff in general. Easy access to beach and pool. A little awkward how people reserve spots so early in the morning, but still lots of places to go for sun at the pools and the amazing beach. Buffet was delicious and the restaurants too. Activities day and night were so much fun. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Absolutely TERRIBLE! IF I go back to Cancun it will not be at this resort! On the 2nd day we were greeted by Manuel that helped us book our excursion we were returning from. Only after 5 minutes of being back in the room THREE security guards knocked on the door, saying they smell marijuana. I was immediately offended, because there was no smoke smell, I don’t do drugs, and I just got there. After searching my room, I told THEM to get there supervisor. He gets to the room promptly and I asked did he smell smoke in the hallway or does my room smell like smoke HE SAID NO! He said a report was made that’s why they came to my room. I told him security said they smell drugs, so I need them to get the story straight. Instead of trying to rectify and apologize, I get told I should come down after being disrespected and my room being searched. When I get to the manager Rey he was apologetic and explained a report was made about someone in the pool area, NOT on the 7th floor where three security guards came to and it occurred when we were not there (but this wasn’t racial profiling according to them). Rey upgraded us to a suit and said he would make dinner reservations for my birthday. The upgraded suite didn’t have an air conditioner and the reservations were not made. I tried to make the best out of this 40th birthday disaster, but I will never ever recommend this place.

Upon arrival I think the front desk can do better about making guests fell welcome. We arrived very early and I had tried to message the hotel ahead of time. No one responded to my messages and when we got there we were tired from travel. I understand there were not rooms but when there was a shift change the front desk person did not inform the next shift that we were waiting so we had to repeat ourselves all over again. After that everything was amazing!

Everything about this place was great until late night that when the services suffered they said 24 hour services but that wasn't true after 11 no one answers the phone they want you to use an app for everything but the app is broken and bugged so almost impossible to use.

Beautiful beach- highlight of the trip. Very comfortable beds. Food was ok. The Japanese restaurant was delicious but all buffet food was average or below average. People were friendly. This property is well maintained. The rooms are rather large with a large bathroom; including a soaking bath. Nice amenities included in the room. Pool area is well maintained and very enviting. Separate lounging areas make for great options. The beach is breathtaking. The only down fall was the amount of seating/ lounge chairs on the actual beach. Just not enough to accommodate their guest. The VIP BEACH area is a joke! Its too small! The dining options are truly nice if your lucky enough to get a reservations; however, the open buffet is quite satisfying. We also like that the resort offers night entertainment. The Masquerade show was awesome! If your asked to view a timeshare don't feel pressured. You can say no. The servers work very diligently while greeting guest with smiles. I love how they are eagered to help one another to assure guest needs are met. Team work makes the dream work! Most of the clerks at the front desk were pleasant but we did encounter two who were not as eagered to assist. Over all, you won't go wrong with choosing to stay at Santo's Cancun. Even with a few hickups you'll be happy with this chose. Nothing is perfect & after all its CANCUN!

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff at Sandos. They were kind and personable and always available to help if needed. The only downside to our stay was trying to find a spot at the pool that wasn’t “reserved” and one of the restaurants (Seasons) was not very good at all. Other than that we had an amazing experience and would definitely come back!

Was very disappointed with this resort. The resort did not give us the Expedia vip rewards. They told us there were no room upgrades available, then tried to sell us a room upgrade. They tried to force us in a meeting about booking room through them and not using Expedia. We were a party of 6 and it was nearly impossible to make reservations for the restaurants. The food quality was poor and we had to eat off property many times. The wait staff was amazing and very attentive at the pool and beach area. Beach was beautiful. Would not stay here again.

I thought the staff was really nice and treated us very well. I think there should be more going on for night life. The pool is ok but could really use a swim up bar.

The resort is great, staff was very nice and helpful. It has weird smells/odors around certain parts of the building ranging from the street to the actual beach in the back. The food was okay in 3 of the 4 restaurants they have there, gaijin was the best by far out of all the restaurants. It’s Japanese hibachi in case you’re wondering. But I recommend it if you are just trying to go to the beach and drink.

Very nice property, had everything we needed and liked that it’s not massive like some of the resorts. Great room service and breakfast buffet. Also liked the poolside restaurant and brick oven pizzas. There were a few nights with very loud music in the club which was mostly ok because it was over by 9pm, but one night it went until midnight and I couldn’t believe how loud it was. You can hear literally everything in the halls too, and I suggest they upgrade the towels in the rooms and at the pool. Overall give it 4 stars, we had a great trip!

The swimming at the beach was great and better than other resorts we’ve stayed not in the hotel zone. However, to get a spot at the beach with any sort of shade you have to wake up early and save a spot. The food was okay, but not great. The best food was at the buffet. We had issues with our rooms when we arrived but were told it was a request to have two beds, but not a guarantee. The room service was bad, do not recommend it at all.

The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Staff were also very helpful. I enjoyed the activities that they had daily at the resort. I didn’t have a need to leave the resort for anything. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was no latch on the inside of my room door to keep anyone from using a key to walking in without my permission while I’m in the room. I improvised and set a little trap to know if someone is coming in, but I would prefer the latch be on the door like all other rooms I’ve ever been in. Other than that, the resort was awesome.
