FOR ALL THE PARENTS AROUND THE WORLD, DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS RESORT. my daughter hit her head on the side of the pool slide in this resort and got a very big injury on her chin. the slides have sharp sides that are not safe for kids. there was no medical assistance for 1.5 hour and i had to stop the bleeding myself, until the doctor arrived 1.5 hour later, because as the said on Saturdays they have no doctors and a medical assistance in their resort lol. my daughter required stiches. when i told the manager, she said accidents happen. i said it could happen to any kid, this does not meet the safety standards, she said kids have to be careful when sliding from a slippery slides. the buffet is horrible. the food is disgusting here. ocean was not calm, it's a windy side and big waves. hotel was new, staff was not friendly. i have been going to cancun 2 times a year, this was the worst resort i have ever stayed in cancun.

Royal Uno is a newly opened resort under Royal Group. The room is new and in modern style, the beds are comfortable. The staff is nice and helpful. We love the food in different restaurants and the service there. Also the entertainment such as video game room, kids club and the night show gave us an amazing stay.

We loved the whole experience. Royal Uno made everyday special. I felt like family the whole time I was there. My kids loved it. An amazing Mayan Museum with ruins and snorkeling adventure tour are within walking distance. Enjoyed Both.

This is not a fancy 5 star resort, but it is almost brand new and in excellent shape. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Best part for us was the food. The specialty restaurants were all very good, each with their own special meal that is excellent. Not your typical all inclusive resort food.
