The location is front beach which is breathtaking. The service the workers provide is the best I’ve experienced. The condition of the hotel is not the best but it is priced reasonable for how it looks. My restroom shower head did not work properly (didn’t hurt me but water did splash out the slider doors), the safe to put valuables did not work and the TV had to constantly be checked for it to work. They have some great amenities on property available like a restaurant, surfing rentals and classes, and on site excursions staff to help with your stay in Cancun. Overall I would stay here again but I would check other options. Again the staff is excellent.

When we got there, it was early so we went to the restaurant, in the mall to eat! After we ate we came bk to check in. The Hurricane was coming so we left out to get food/drinks for the room. Everything was closed and we came bk to purchase water and soda and was told NO! When the neighbor went to ask they told her to go back to her room! She said there were coolers full of water and sodas! The bathroom was leaking, the door to the balcony wouldn’t open and the socket was coming out of the wall. That night the hurricane came but they had shutters, which saved us! We talked to the lady at the desk let her know we had no food water etc and after hearing I was leaving a review, she changed our room! We were moved to a 1 bedroom which the tiles were lifting up, and the AC kept leaking on my bed even after the maintenance man came and fixed it! The view was nice, but nvr again!

I liked the fact that the shopping stores, restaurants, the beach, and the pharmacy were all walking distance. It was clean and I felt safe because it is a gated community where you need the bracelet/reservations to enter the hotel and they have cameras all around. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Ocean Dream Cancun for a week and it was a great stayed. Ocean Dream Cancun was very clean, very professional staff and location, location was awesome. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is older. The AC unit in our room did not blow cold air. The shower experience was terrible. The shower head was so old and sprayed every which way but down. The worst part was tje huge rash I broke out in when I used the towels. I think I was allergic to the soap they used to wash them. Overall we were not satisfied but had to book an emergency stay with the lowest rate. This was a terrible choice..

Our flight was delayed so we arrived one day later than originally planned. I was so stressed after reading someone else’s review. They were in the same situation, had contacted the property and were told it’d be fine. When they arrived the property denied everything and made them rebook the “only available room” (penthouse) without giving a refund for the original arrangement. So I decided to call and spoke with Leticia and she said everything would be fine and there would be no extra charges and we would get our same room. Thankfully I recorded the conversation on my phone because they tried to deny everything they said on the phone call when we arrived and barely let us onto the property until I told them I had the recording. It was ridiculous, I basically had to threaten them with the recording I took because they said our reservation was canceled since we arrived a day later. When I told them (in Spanish) that I had the recording and I’d call whoever necessary (police) to sort it out, everything was magically resolved and our reservation wasn’t cancelled anymore & we didn’t have to repurchase our stay. Totally dishonest business. With all of that being said, the room was clean, pools were nice, a/c was great and the maids were super friendly. The view was stunning and we had zero issues with our room. But if your flight gets delayed MAKE SURE to request an email confirmation in case they try to screw you over because they will. Very dishonest staff.
