DIVE! (Not in the good way).

Posted 13-Apr-2017
Pros: Parking
Cons: Pretty much EVERYTHING!
Location: The location is pretty choice if you want to be centrally located in the Zona Hotelera. Nice beaches across the Ave. Kulkukan and the food nearby.
Flea-Bitten flop! The mattresses and bedding are circa 1970. We requested a ground floor (my wife is in a knee brace), with King Bed. We were given a 3rd floor (no elevator, outside, slippery stairs), twin bed room with a window pane missing. This place should be rented by the hour with plastic sheets and "Huggy Bear" collecting the "rent" for companions at the front door.

A good stay

Posted 7-Mar-2017
Cons: Upgrade everything. New paint, bedding, flooring etc.
At first glance when you step into the room, you think, what a dump. But I changed my mind after awhile. Yes, the bedding may have a small rip and the floor tiles are chipped but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was a large bathroom with lots of hot water. The restaurant served good inexpensive meals. The small swimming pool was ok for sunbathing and a quick dip. The grounds and landscaping are very pleasant. There is a gas station with a Subway and sells food, water, drinks etc. about 100 yards away. There are about 3, mom and pop small Mexican restaurants, a pizza place and a Japanese Shushi restaurant very close to the gas station. The hotel is located within walking distance to a beach, other restaurants/bars and a very large Selecto Chedraui supermarket. This hotel is a reasonable place to stay. It had what we needed without all of the glitz and expense.

The hotel is secluded and located at a very convenient distance from the city. The lagoon view and the continental breakfast makes this hotel even more perfect.

You get what you pay for it, no more nor less

Posted 23-Jan-2017
Pros: Location!
Cons: Beds!
Location: That is the beauty of this hotel. You can go to downtown in public transportation. There are malls, restaurants and more places to go nearby.
It is a very basic hotel. I would say OK if you are going to spend no more than 3 nights. The restaurant only works from 10 am to 2 pm, but you have a convenience store and restaurants just around the corner. Beds need an upgrading immediately!

Great deal, with a few notable shortcomings

Posted 20-Jan-2017
Pros: Good price, friendly English speaking staff, very clean, nice pool and view of lagoon. Towel animals on our bed each day were a nice touch.
Cons: Room 112: * Broken shower head sprayed a couple painfully intense jets of water * Very old TV with unwatchably bad audio * No lamps * No alarm clock
Location: Easy to catch the city bus to anywhere in the hotel district. Plenty of nice beaches and restaurants you can easily get to.
Stayed here for three nights and had an overall great experience, would definitely come back. Great for people who plan to spend minimal time in the hotel room, I wouldn't really recommend it for a family. Small included breakfast included a little bit of fruit, two pieces of toast, orange juice, and coffee. You can pay a couple dollars to order a bigger meal.
