I booked into the cabin at typical motel room tariff for one night, and it was freezing cold and an ice box. I tried the heater but it was totally not up to task, the bed didn't have enough warm covers, and no electric blanket, the shower and bathroom were dirty and totally outdated, and after working on my laptop for two hours, and clearly the room still an ice box, I checked out and went up the road to the Ibis. Minor issue with a neighbours motion light being on all night the first night (no one was staying there, it was just glitching). We asked about it and they fixed it immediately with so much kindness (I felt bad asking and they were so easy about it). Less than walking distance to a decent bistro and service station, and a yummy breakfast cafe.
