On the second night, I had to host my 8-year-old son unexpectedly, as his father had an emergency. The reception told me that the room I was in couldn’t accommodate an extra bed, so I had to pay an additional £100 to move to another room — same size, and still without an extra bed. Only after I strongly insisted did they finally bring one. Considering the already high nightly rate, paying £100 more for the same space felt unreasonable. Very little understanding or flexibility for a child. Definitely not a human-centred or family-friendly hotel."
