Our stay at Om Shanti Beach Stay in Goa was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family by the two amazing owners and their truly fantastic staff. They go out of their way to help with absolutely anything — nothing is ever too much trouble. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care make this place incredibly special. We stayed in one of the beautiful rustic garden rooms, complete with a lovely en suite shower room. The room was charming, comfortable, and perfectly in keeping with the relaxed beachside atmosphere. Waking up each morning just 100 paces from a stunning white sand beach felt like a dream. The location is unbeatable — peaceful, scenic, and wonderfully tranquil. The food deserves a special mention. Every evening, the BBQ comes alive with fresh-caught fish and mouthwatering tandoori chicken, cooked to perfection. The flavors are incredible, the ingredients fresh, and the atmosphere around dinner is always relaxed and joyful. Add to that the very affordable drinks, and you have the perfect recipe for long, happy evenings under the warm Goan sky. Located in the quieter region of South Goa, Om Shanti is perfectly positioned for exploring a more serene and unspoiled side of Goa. It’s a true sanctuary — ideal for unwinding, relaxing, and enjoying peaceful time with friends and family, or for a romantic getaway. Our stay at the Om Shanti Patnem was a wonderful experience. The hotel offers direct beach access, outside dining and drinks, with a diverse menu. Beach lounge chairs are available for all guests. The staff is outstanding. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The little shopping areas around the hotel were quaint and reasonably priced. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance of Om Shanti. To sit and see the sunset with a cold beer or Margarita in the hand was fantastic. We had booked 3 nights but prolonged it with one night and have already booked a couple of more nights in the end of November. We lived in the main hotel house which was recently built and we had a sea and garden view from the nice balcony. A very nice and clean room. The hotel has a restaurant with lots of food and drinks to choose between at reasonable cost. The staff was very friendly and attentive and made us feel like home, especially "Ulhas" who supervised the restaurant. We had no wish to go anywhere else to eat. The part of the beach where this hotel is placed ( centre position on Patnem beach) is the cleanest beach we we have seen so far in India ( 5th beach), they had arranged for everyday cleaning of it. We found the beds comfy, a/c cold, room clean, and restaurant moderately priced with a wide variety of menu items. Nice details like toiletries in the bathroom, clotheslines and water faucets outside for clothes/ sandy shoes...made us appreciate this place more. Having been in Goa before, we had a bit to compare this beach/ hotel to. Om Shanti is great to just chill. It has a certain relaxing vibe that is nice. You'll find a mix of families and older tourists, solo travelers, everyone in between here among the guests. The restaurant's food is fresh and delicious. They need a better cold coffee/ iced coffee option for us iced coffee people. Their evening bluesy- jazz option playlist was a bit much for us during dinners....but we had a longer stay. It's pleasant in short bouts, perhaps. Overall, the location is great. Morning beach walks feel more intimate and peaceful here. Shopping and groceries literally a minute's walk away. No complaints; only a suggestion that the staff smile more and be less serious looking. Other than that, we extended our stay.
