Come enjoy and indulge in the tranquility of the spacious front porch, while relishing the blissful seclusion offered by the expansive one-acre property. This location offers easy access to the Taconic Parkway, as well as close proximity to the charming Village of Chatham, Pittsfield and Albany.

The Space:
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a welcoming great room adorned with cozy seating arrangements, including a leather sleeper sofa and two upholstered chairs. A tastefully placed area rug and side tables with accompanying lamps perfectly complement the warm wood floors and ceiling beams.

The kitchen showcases stunning oak cabinetry that exudes beauty, complemented by modern stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, flat top range and oven, refrigerator, and stackable washer and dryer for your convenience. Delight in the captivating scenery through the expansive picture window situated above the sink. The kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker and comes fully stocked with pots, pans, and all the essential serving items, ensuring that preparing meals is easy and fun.

Indulge in delightful dinners in the dining room, where a six-seater table awaits, or step through the generous French doors that lead to the inviting wrap-around covered porch, where you can enjoy al fresco dining with tables and chairs, as well as unwind with comfortable wicker furniture.

The one story cottage is home to two bedrooms, both adorned with cozy queen beds. With the combination of two bedrooms and an additional sleeper sofa in the living room, this home comfortably accommodates up to six guests.

The home features a single full bathroom, complete with a glass shower enclosure.
Outdoors you’ll enjoy a wrap around porch on the front and side of the house. The covered front porch has railings for dining with tables, chairs, and relaxing wicker furniture.

While Canaan provides a rural setting, it is conveniently located near various amenities. The neighboring towns of Chatham and Pittsfield offer shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment options, and medical facilities. Additionally, the town provides easy access to major transportation routes, including the Taconic Parkway.
