Whether you're coming down to hike, climb or just looking for a little getaway out in the Daniel Boone National Forest, this cabin will help you feel right at home. Embracing sustainability, the cabin features eco-friendly products, harmonizing comfort with environmental consciousness. Perfect for nature lovers seeking a mindful retreat. Centrally located in the Red River Gorge, you'll be close to everything it has to offer.  
  
The Space:  
Discover the allure of "Hiker's Midnight" cabin, a retreat designed for the nature enthusiast seeking a blend of comfort and eco-conscious living. We strive to use eco-friendly products in our cabin including organic cotton bed sheets and towels. Plastic free toiletries, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner as well as bamboo toilet paper are provided in the bathroom and natural hand/ dish soap, compostable sponges, bamboo paper towels are provided in the kitchen. We also use natural cleaning supplies to clean the cabin. The porch lights will illuminate at dusk and are powered by solar. Guests can contribute to sustainability using our reusable bags during their stay with us.  
  
The interior hosts one bedroom with a queen size bed and electric fireplace. The main living room has a couch that folds open for an additional bed. Both the bedroom and living room have smart TVs with numerous apps for guests to log into. Our kitchen comes stocked with all the basics you need to cook up a wonderful dinner, complimented by a welcoming fire pit for tranquil evenings.

Hiker’s Midnight is located in the perfect location, right next to cliff view resort and the Red River Gorge Zipline Adventure tours.

Other Things to Note:  
Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.  
As of Dec 2024 the couch was replaced\*  
  
Pets are allowed at this cabin. We charge a flat pet fee of $50. Please be sure to add any pets to your reservation. If you do not see where to do so, reach out to us so we can apply our pet fee.  
There is a charcoal grill, please supply your own charcoal and lighter fluid. We do not sell or provide firewood.  
This cabin utilizes city water and is safe for all uses.  
Eco friendly toiletries are provided for our guests’ comfort.  
There is an exterior camera that faces the walkway near the front door.
