Between the green hills and the Opal Sea, Camiers-Sainte-Cécile has had a tumultuous history. Julius Caesar, for example, is said to have taken refuge here with his fleet. Or that Frénégonde, Charlemagne's wife, died here. Historical fact or local legend? Nobody knows! Whatever the case, the end of the 19th century saw the emergence of a wealthy British clientele, mainly attracted by sea bathing. The seaside resorts of Saint Gabriel and Sainte Cécile were born.  
Here, just a stone's throw from Le Touquet-Paris-plage and Etaples-sur-mer, a palette of remarkable landscapes emerges. Three sandy beaches and a dune area stretch over 750 hectares, all the way to the Bay of Canche. This natural setting invites you to escape and recharge your batteries. As a family or with friends, you can rediscover calm and simplicity at your own pace. Let yourself be lulled by the wind.

Adequate apartment. Well furnished. Balcony size is best feature. Disappointed with response from named local support man. Had problems with the lock on entry door. Initial response to repair was very good. Additional problems after repair with the lock were totally ignored. We “ could” have been locked out of our apartment with no solution offered at all.Also when we arrived we could not get access to the apartment as details of names were not provided to access key cupboard. Entry codes provided but no name reference. Very frustrating and avoidable
