Linen was high quality. Unfortunately there had been poor maintenance of insect screens: several opening windows lacked screens, others had screens which fell out, and others had holes in the screens. Consequently the house became a beacon for flying insects in the evening - but we were unable to close the windows as the house information instructed that the air-conditioning not be used after dark. This detracted significantly from our enjoyment of the property - as did the ant infestation in the kitchen." Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. The owners were helpfully responsive to my email enquiry before our stay, but left us alone to enjoy the experience when we were there. The cottages are well away from the house and the garden is designed so that the cottages are fairly private from each other. The property is as presented and very comfortable.
