HOLIDAY HOME on top of the mainland
Spacious, modern home with swimming pool located in a quiet coastal town. Ocean views. Pristine beaches at the end of the street, just a 3–5 minute walk away. Private tropical surroundings with Kattang National Park Nature Reserve as your backyard, offering fantastic wildflower walks and whale watching from May to November.
All the amenities you could want: free WiFi, air conditioning, Netflix, and full Foxtel. Linen is provided, and your beds are made.
THE SPACE
Illalangi means "the house on the hill" in the local Aboriginal language.
Downstairs, the air-conditioned living area has two lounge areas, a dining room, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with gas cooking. The dining area opens onto a fantastic outdoor entertaining space with covered alfresco dining and BBQ area, a solar-heated saltwater pool (not heated in winter), and a cabana pool area with sun loungers.
A tropical garden surrounding the pool helps you relax immediately.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
A separate toilet is located downstairs in the hallway.
LOCATION
The house backs onto Kattang National Park Nature Reserve.
Pilot Beach, a safe swimming beach, and Wash House Beach are located at the end of the street — just a 3-minute walk.
The walk to Point Perpendicular is well worth it — even kids can do it. The trail starts at the end of the street and is a 4 km round trip. You can see blowholes and lots of wildflowers in season — and if you're lucky, migrating whales between May and November.
Take a stroll along the Camden Haven River — or just relax by the cabana next to the pool.

Restful house in an amazing location
Restful holiday for all ages. Waking distance to beach, bushwalks, parks and fishing spots. Pool in backyard with cabana for close but relaxing supervision. Spacious living areas. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. All round excellent.

The house was beautifully decorated but still very comfortable.
The location was very quiet but Laurieton was a very quick drive away.
The walk to the beach perfect.
The pool and surrounds are stunning. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

Perfect
This place is paradise. My friends and I loved every second of it. It has space for you come together but also space for when you need time alone. The pool was great aswell, very nice outdoor area and the vibes are immaculate. I didn’t want to leave :(

Unlucky timing
The house was spacious and as per description. We just had bad timing as the weekend we booked was bad weather heavy rains n winds.
The pool did have a fair bit of leaves in it and had a palm branch stuck in the pool vaccum so we had to clean it up . Unable to use the pool for more than 30mins as the weather was so cold and not enough sun to heat up the solar heated pool.
The house is equipped with everything you need cutlery and dinning wise. The beach is literally down the road.

Kids didn’t leave pool
It was great. The house is spacious and has everything you need. Location is to die for. The pool is perfect, well maintained and perfect spot to sit relax and watch the kids or jump in for some fun
