Fantastic location with lots of parking! The lobby is warm and inviting! Staff were super friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel anytime

Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The hotel was busy the weekend we booked as a wedding occurred, however it didn’t affect the stay and despite a busy than usual reception area it was still very quiet throughout and all the bookable options were still available.
Breakfast was nice, some items missing but restocked halfway though so we didn’t miss out. Very happy.

Could do better
Very average place and a bit tired looking in places. Our bed offered very poor support. Sound proofing was dreadful. The food was a ridiculous price. Our £17 pizza wasn't even cooked properly but when we we asked if it was ok, it was replaced after a long wait by another one that was atleast hot, rather than luke warm. We were also given a free drink for the inconvenience which was appreciated. The sausages and bacon at breakfast were poorly cooked. The sausages were like leather as they had been standing for so long. The bacon was all undercooked. We stayed at a Days Inn the night before and the room was much bigger and more comfortable.

We booked this by accident (meant to book in Peterborough Ontario, Canada). We cancelled after 20 minutes and the hotel refused to issue a refund. We are extremely disappointed and disheartened with their unreasonable choice. Comes off as insensitive, inflexible, and greedy.

Everything was really good but we did think the restaurant food was overpriced. Unfortunately, on checking out we realised that we had been charged twice for our food and drink. It was dealt with by the receptionist immediately on pointing this out but it should have been noted at the time of the making up of our invoice. Also the lift was out of order for most of our stay.

Great staff, excellent location as we were exploring the area and access to driving routes was right on our doorstep - we were surprised this didn’t bring additional noise which was a bonus. Overall a great base and one we would happily return to.

Food was basic but tasty, great value for money with kids eating free. Clean facilities. Comfy room. All looking a little dated but a pleasant stay. Great breakfast and a nice little pool!

Great location with both woods and some decent talking routes nearby. Plenty of onsite free parking and great choice of foods on the breakfast buffet.
Staff very courteous and happy to help solve any issues/answer our questions.
The reason for raiting the property condition and facilities only 3* was due to the constant problems we had withour room's door locks. The first room we were assigned the lock completely died after just leaving and entering the room once, and so we were moved to another room and they apologised by compensating us with a couple of freek drinks vouchers. However the problems continued in our new room and on at least three occasions during our 3 night stay we had to get the front desk staff to recharge our room's keycard.
