The space Our charming self-contained cabin has an open-plan living and dining area, complete with plenty of modern home comforts for relaxing. Our property provides a super comfortable bed and a well-kitted-out kitchen allowing you to cook your meals, or you can visit the many pubs or eating establishments on your doorstep. The property is accessed via its private entrance and is standalone from the main house. Guests have their free parking spot or can use the easy and quick transport links into the city center of Cambridge or the nearby Science Park. Bike spaces are also available to use. SLEEPING: Main Bedroom: 1 x Double Size Bed and Ensuite with walk-in shower Built-in wardrobe with hanging space, shelves, and chest of drawers. We provide hotel-quality linen, bath, and hand towels for each guest, and travel-size toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and soap. CHILLING: Comfortable open plan living/dining area with a flat-screen 32-inch Smart TV to select your favorite Streaming App or Local TV channel. Superfast Wifi for work or study, and your own private patio area. EATING: Prepare delicious meals in a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and cooking equipment. There is also a washing machine available for personal use. PARKING: A dedicated free parking space belonging to the property in the driveway is available for guests to use. LOCATION: Situated on Chesterton Road and a one-minute stroll to the River Cam for riverside walking, a jog, or swimming at one of Europe’s largest outdoor swimming pools. It is also a short walk to Cambridge’s main sights, such as the colleges and museums. Numerous restaurants, pubs, and cafes are on your doorstep, and a Co-Op supermarket is less than a minute's walk for necessities. My home is professionally cleaned and the linen/towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. There is also remote self-check-in to give you flexibility if you arrive late, and 24/7 guest support is on hand should you need any assistance during your stay. Guest access Guests have full, exclusive, and private use of our entire cabin and will not be disturbed during their stay. The property is set up to offer remote access with easy self-check-in, and no direct contact with anyone is required. We offer 24/7 guest support should you need any support or assistance during your check-in or stay. Other things to note \- We do not allow parties, events, or gatherings of any kind and have sensitive neighbors \- Smoking in the property is not allowed. \- Extra guests are not allowed. \- Superfast Wifi up to 100 Mb \- Pets are not allowed \- Travel Cot and High chair are available for hire at a cost of £50, or £30 on their own. Pass the Keys® provides a hotel standard of service for short-let properties like mine. This means my home is professionally maintained and cleaned after each stay. You will sleep and stay knowing they guarantee professionally cleaned linens and toiletries. They also provide 24/7 guest support and a locally personalized service before and during your stay. The locally based team of Pass the Keys® in Cambridge has personally inspected my home and certified it has met the Pass the Keys® Property Readiness Standard. Additional rules \- Parties, events, or gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. \- Smoking in the property is not allowed. \- Extra guests are not allowed. \- No Pets allowed \- Check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before 11 am. A £50 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will disrupt my cleaner’s schedule. \- Please respect the neighbors and keep the noise down, especially after 11 pm. \- Please remove shoes inside the apartment and leave them in the entrance hall. \- Travel Cot and High chair are available to hire for £50, or £30 each on their own. IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process. The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay. Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. The place was well maintained and clean. Lots of little shops in walking distance (including a co-op grocery store just two doors down), and a friendly local pub across the street. I was only a ten-minute drive from the city centre (I didn't try the public transit). A minor note, and really not a complaint. I was surprised that there were two things missing from the flat: a teapot (!) and a broom. Other than that, it was a great place to stay while I was in Cambridge for work. ##### James G. It was supposed to be closed. I was initially thrown. You should put a note with the letter " A " on the gate to the backyard. The lock itself is a mess. The cabin was immaculately clean on arrival. I found the bottom shelf of the refrigerator door broken and unfortunately no freezing compartment. If there were supposed to be four of each of the table sets, there were only three tumblers and two mugs and two wine glasses. Was the shower programmed to go cold after a certain period to save electricity ? You should put an anti-slip mat in the shower recess as it becomes very slippery.
