No ferry is needed to access Camano Island, sixty miles north of Seattle. FYI: NO dishwasher or washing machine/dryer. The pet area was secure so I didn't worry about my dog finding an escape route. The only down side of our stay was that there is a step up for the main living quarters. My husband having poor eyesight tripped on the step and coming off the step. He never saw the step there. We had to move the dining chairs as a warning the step is there. Lovely views of the Saratoga Passage and Whidbey Island. Gorgeous sunset views. Roomy deck with furniture, barbecue and large patio heater, Kitchen was well outfitted and beds super comfy. Owners/hosts were very responsive and kind. Highly recommend! We had some nice walks in the neighborhood and also explored Cama State Beach down the road. Would stay again! ##### Kari D. It has been nicely updated, though a caution to tall people! It's an old home but has a nice history. The view from the front windows that are across the whole front of the house is amazing! Clean comfortable bed and a kitchen that actually had decent cooking pots and pans. ##### len R.
