"Excellent location, reasonable price"
Excellent location - it's located only the other side of the bridge. 5 mins walk to the market. It's not right in the centre of town. Hence, not that noisy during the day. Right beside the river, with riverview from the restaurant during breakfast. Having said that the breakfast, the coffee has vanilla taste with it. Really not nice. Food is soso, enough to fill up the tummy til lunch time. However, heard from other guests that the hut could be noisy as there're 2 rooms in a single hut separated by a thin wall. Reasonable price including breakfast. I paid USD$35 per night for what I wanted. For that price, I didn't expect luxury facility nor service. Staff not friendly, but then again, didn't top dollar for excellent service. It comes with a swimming pool, which is great during the hot day. Spent about 30 mins per day to unwind. Stayed on second floor, the water pressure could sometimes be a bit low. I'm not too fuzzy about it for the price. They provided 2 bottles of drinking water per day. Mini fridge works ok. Air-cond works ok. Hire a bicycle from a shop opposite. Arranged private transport from the shop opposite as well.

"highly recommended ! "
Homeland River Homestay is just lovely. We stayed here 3 nights. - beautiful owners, friendly and incredibly accommodating. Would do anything to make their guests happy. - location is a little bit out of the way, about 15 min walk to where the action is a nice walk along the river will get you there, but we just took a scooter. - scooters can be hired directly from the homestay, about $8AUD a day, or 132,000 dong. We didn't try to barter this. Just we're happy to pay as the owner is so kind and generous. - bicycles can also be hired which would be great if you're not comfortable on a scooter. I think these were free. (But not 100% sure) - exceptionally clean room and bathroom. - large room. - big bed, queen maybe, and clean linen. A blanket is in the cupboard, only a sheet is dressed upon arrival. - beds are firm. - fan and aircon work a treat. - room got a bit muggy through the day, and seemed to get slightly damp. This could have been the time of year we are travelling - raining and drizzling most of the day, but still can be quite warm during some parts of the day. - delicious food and really cheap too. Overall, I absolutely and highly recommend Homeland River Homestay.

"A riverside oasis close to the old town"
This small inn, billed as a homestay, is less than a ten-minute cycle ride from the centre of the lovely old town Hoi An. Quite good breakfasts are provided on a covered patio overlooking small rice fields and the river. The rooms are comfortable and the family and staff very helpful.

"Homely with Lovely People "
I stayed here for twelve nights. It is absolutely delightful and situated in a residential area within easy walking or cycling distance from the old town. The family made be feel thoroughly at home. My room was large and clean with excellent security. There is good wardrobe space and air conditioning. It was really like being a guest within the small community and provides a wonderful insight into the day to day lives of the local people. People are friendly and there are local small cafes and restaurants some of which are excellent and cheap. One restaurant is opposite the town market and has seating by the river. Autumn speaks good English and the family, including Lulu the little dog will make you feel at home. The included breakfasts are amazing. There are free bicycles and Can Nam Island is well worth exploring. The Bonsai garden is relaxing and private. There is a small pool.
