The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the town. We had a room in the back (we recommend this) with a lovely view of a pasture with cows and the main cathedral. We liked the walk.

For the price it is exactly what was expected, clean place to sleep and wash, somewhere nice to eat, and parking on site, plus within driving distance to the beaches and museums, also it is walkable, (20 min) to the center with restaurants and bars

Local attractions we were interested in like the tapestries and the war museum were very close by. We had difficulty with operating the TV but probably should have asked for some help with that.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff.
The hotel location is great. You can walk to downtown or park nearby. The hotel is very clean other than the bathroom shower having mold on the ceiling. Venting the bathroom would help prevent this. The beds are comfortable. The buffet breakfast was ok. It’s a buffet European style. My husband & brother in law went to eat very early one morning due to a tour meetup. There was a bus load of people in the dining room area at 6am and could not get any food at all! The rooms are clean and big enough for two people. We recommend the hotel but if you want a typical American breakfast go into town.

It was a place to hang our head at the end of a busy day It’s just on the outskirts of the town so a short hike back to the hotel from exploring the town or coming back from a tour We enjoyed the buffet breakfast but the dinner buffet was less than spectacular and pricey for what you get. Plus you need to pay extra for the dessert buffet and god forbid if you get a coffee from the machine. I had two waitresses stop me basically saying I couldn’t help myself to coffee. You can help yourself to coffee at breakfast. Also note, you just get bath towels, no wash cloths. I ended up buying a microfiber cloth in town Based on the parking lot, there were a lot of people staying there but it was very quiet

Madam,Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.Indeed, our establishment is located close to the city center of Bayeux (around 10-15 minutes).The choice of buffets and presentation are imposed by the group.The prices are indicated on the menu, you can either take only the starters, only the desserts or both.Our coffee machine is only for breakfast, we use another machine for the restaurant. Of course, coffee at the restaurant is not free.Our group has decided to no longer offer hand towels for environmental reasons (much fewer machines) but if you would like an extra towel, just ask at reception. We will be happy to welcome you again during your next visit to our establishment.Best Regards

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is an easy walk to the centre of bayeux and, for me at least, the train station. The breakfast was good and I found it very peaceful and quiet in the evening. The surrounding area is very pleasant. Staff were also friendly. Overall, I thought it was good value and I would definitely stay again.

This was marked as a 3-star hotel on Expedia but this is nowhere near the level of a 3-star hotel in France. It is basically a motel of the Super-8 level. Paper-thin walls and ceilings, people constantly passing right by our windows and car lights flashing inside from the parking lot. Large groups of rowdy students and other tourist groups staying here. Few towels, no shampoos or toiletries. We also got a room for disabled people despite never requesting one. This rooms allowed no way to take a normal shower or change water temperature or pressure in the sink. Do not stay here.

I don’t know how this place is rated 3 stars. It’s really a very basic motel at the level of Super 8. We stayed in 10 different hotels during our trip, most of them 3-star, and this was nowhere near their level. It was also very noisy with groups of school kids running around and screaming loudly. On top of this, we were given a room for disabled people where after taking a shower the whole room was wet. All in all a bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel.

Good for a night's stay if you are planning to o visit the D-Day beaches. The bedrooms could use an upgrade, but the bathrooms were upgraded and clean. Very good breakfast and very responsive, friendly and professional staff.

This property surpassed our expectations. Easy walk from the train station, clean rooms, modern bathrooms and friendly staff. The only drawback was being there at the same time as 2-3 tour busses, so the restaurant wasn’t an option due to being over busy. Would stay there again.

D-Day beaches visit
Friendly staff, exceptionally clean room. Ideally placed to access the centre of Bayeux and the British cemetery on foot. Also a great base for exploring all the D-Day beaches.
