Villa Acacia- Spectacular Ocean view & heated pool

Modern spacious villa with spectacular panoramic ocean views with heated infinity-like pool in a quiet area 500 meters above sea level. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, sleeps 8.

Villa Acacia is a luxury 4 bedroom holiday villa completed in 2016. Located on the edge of the peaceful village of Loreto, 1679 ft/500m above sea level, it commands awe-inspiring, panoramic sea views. Facing South the villa and the pool and terraces enjoy full sunshine from early morning to sunset.

The villa features an outdoor private heated pool, surrounding sun terrace, top floor balcony, garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free gated private parking for 3 cars.

The villa has 4 bedrooms (3 have direct pool access with ocean views), 4 bathrooms, a games room, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV, a dining area and a fully equipped modern kitchen.

The top floor is a reverse level arrangement, with a kitchen, dining and lounge area, to the rear is the 4th bed- and bathroom (shower). A balcony runs the full length of this floor, and the view is ever present throughout the glass doors and window that cover about 75 % of all walls. Accessibility is provided by in - & outside stairs leading down to the ground floor(s).

The ground floor has three bedrooms all with direct access to the swimming pool & terrace and all with magnificent sea views. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (shower). The 2nd and 3rd bedroom share a bathroom (shower) on the same floor. (All bathrooms have a washing basin with mirror - toilet & shower)

The basement floor features a large games room with a full size pool table, table tennis and table football. Situated here is also a fourth bathroom (shower) with laundry facilities (washer, dryer, iron & board) and a small utility terrace outside.

The heated swimming pool is 10 metres long x 3.5 metres wide.
It ranges between 150cm & 180cm in depth. (no shallow end)

*Young children must always be kept under supervision in and around the pool. As an Infinity-like Pool, the views are magnificent, but there is a 4-metre drop on the rear side of the pool. This area is constructed for safety, so only dangerous when daredevilry or adolescent behaviour would be involved.
There is a video doorbell covering the front door, car park and main gate.

Un grand merci à Tanja et Andy qui ont fait de ce séjour en famille une réussite. La villa était vraiment top . Très bien équipée, rien ne manquait. le moindre détail était prévu comme à la maison pour notre plus grand confort. Nous n'avons réellement jamais été aussi bien reçus que par Tanja et Andy . Des hôtes attentionnés, aux petits soins , toujours à l'écoute et qui sont allés jusqu'à nous couvrir de cadeaux au pied du sapin à Noel. Quelle joie! Sans oublier le champagne au frais! En plus de cet accueil exceptionnel nous avons bénéficié de leur attention et de leurs conseils du début de notre projet à la fin de notre séjour avec des idées de sorties, de bons plans. Toujours réactifs et prêts à rendre nos vacances inoubliables ils ont même équipé leur maison d'un lit bébé et d'une chaise haute pour notre petit fils de 11 mois! vous êtes merveilleux! Nous y retournerions sans hésitation et conseillons cette villa à qui veut se rendre à Madère. vous ne trouverez pas mieux! Merci à vous deux!

Amazing stay, hosts super helpful

We had an amazing stay, very sweet that the hosts had left a basket of Madeira produce for us. The house itself is a good size lots of space indoors, outdoors and has an amazing view. The games room and pool provided great entertainment. Couple of amenities within walking distance (small supermarket, pizza restaurant, bars) otherwise need to drive to a bigger town, but great location for exploring the island with a car. Hosts were so helpful with suggestions of places to eat and activities on the island.

Family trip to Madeira

Far exceeded expectations. Owners are kind and attentive. Location is on a hill side looking down to the sea which is beautiful day and night. Car is essential if you're staying here but this would be the same anywhere on the island to get the best of this wonderful place.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on an amazing island. The views from the property are stunning and it is exceptionally well equipped. The pool is a really good temperature and the basement has a great games room. The communication from the owners was fantastic and they were extremely attentive. We definitely hope to be back!

A villa that offers everything in peaceful surroundings. Games room was a massive hit, especially in changeable weather. Phenomenal view of Arco da Calheta, especially at night from the heated pool. Villa host (Tanja) and taxi driver (Antonio) absolutely brilliant, and always on-hand to help out.

We recently stayed at this delightful rental, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The host was incredibly accommodating (as we had one extra person joining last minute), going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. What a wonderful trip. Homeowners were very responsive and helpful. Great location as the villa is steps away from both a main hiking region and resort/marina area. We were lucky to have seen most of the island and I would agree that this house is in one of the best locations on the island. Morning views were spectacular and we couldn’t ask for better weather. We were two families with two teenagers and a child and found something for everyone to do and enjoy. The grocery store close by was also quite helpful. We enjoyed our dinners out (several recommended by homeowners) but also enjoy cooking our own meals so the nearby grocery store was a hit. Thanks for a memorable trip!!

LOVE THIS LITTLE NOOK OF HAPPINESS

It’s very hard to narrow down this amazing experience!! Tanja is AMAZING!! The communication is spot on!!ANY questions you have about anything- she is there to help and very quick to respond . Madeira is very hilly and with a manual car- you have to be on your game. The villa was everything EVERYTHING and more!! The beds are comfortable- kitchen was fully stocked with all kinds of kitchen goodies! The views are breathtaking and the furniture was incredibly comfortable! We definitely will be back soon! Only issues were- not sure where to take the trash and the master bedroom AC wasn’t working- but- she was prompt to get workers booked to fix it- but the day they promised to be there - there was a PortugaFutbol game - and he called off sick. She was so apologetic- but the temp was perfect for no AC and it was still comfortable ❤️ I’d give this place a 10++++ star if I could. ❤️❤️ We will be back!

Exceptional villa

It was an absolute pleasure for us to stay at Villa Acacia for 9 nights. To begin with, Tanja is a terrific host. Her communication with us prior to our arrival was top notch. She provided so much helpful information which really assisted us in preparing for our first visit to Madeira. The villa itself is a large, modern accommodation, both spacious and bright. For those who like to cook, it has a very well equipped kitchen. There is a refreshing pool directly off the bedrooms. We used this frequently during our stay since Madeira experienced some of the hottest temperatures on record for June while we were there. There is a good-sized gated parking area. The villa is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with some wonderful views. Despite a few hot days, we found many things to see and explore. Some of these included the levada walks to both the Risco waterfall and the 25 Fontes, the sea cliffs at Porto Prego, the Monte Palace Tropical gardens, the cable car ride at Achadas da Cruz, the cable car ride up to Monte from the base station in Funchal, visiting the large market in Funchal, seeing the views from Pico do Areeiro, the 3rd highest peak on the island, seeing the traditional homes in Santana, visiting the Fanal forest, taking the toboggan ride at Monte, and visiting the Valley of the Nuns. We highly recommend a visit to this beautiful island. And while you're there, do yourself a favour and stay at Villa Acacia. You won't be disappointed!

The perfect home away from home for a family stay in Madeira with the most incredible views.

Tanja and Andy are the best hosts we could have asked for during our 1 month stay in Madeira. My family of 4 stayed at the this amazing home and we absolutely love it. We also had 2 and then 3 additional friends come and join us for a short period of time during our stay. The house handled everyone so well. Every one of us had a comfortable bed and there was plenty of restrooms and shower in every floor. The game room was amazing, we loved playing in the foosball table, the pool table and the ping pong table. My husband enjoyed all the gym exercise equipment. We all had a blast playing with the board games as well. The bedrooms were all spacious and had amazing closet space for everyone. We never ran our of clean towels, which was so amazing! We also had a washer and a DRYER!! The headed pool was a hit with all the kids in the house, specially because they got to swim in the pool even on chilly days. The house had plenty of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the views. The kitchen was big and super organized with absolutely everything you would need and plenty of everything. There are two access points to the house, which made bringing groceries an easy task. The main part of the house has the a beautiful open floorpan with the kitchen, dinning and living room. The entire length of that floor has sliding glass doors which not only provide a great breeze, but they give you the most amazing views of the that side of the island and the town of Arco da Calheta. The outdoor deck was one of our favorite spots to sit and enjoy watching the paraglider taking off from the mountain across the way and also seeing the clouds come in and out, there was some days we woke up in the clouds and that was incredible. We rented a car and we loved having the parking in the property and having an easy access to all the attractions to the island. Tanja and Andy were are the most incredible hosts, we visited during the holiday season and I mentioned we would be celebrating my son's birthday during our stay. Well, they surprised us with a fully decorated home for the holiday, a beautiful Christmas Tree and plenty of wrapped GIFTS for EVERYONE! I was so touched when Tanja showed me she had a Birthday cake & candles and a birthday card ready for my son's birthday in the freezer-that meant a lot to me. I was so touched that a host will do this for us & after our say, she also took care of shipping my shopping back home for me! & the house was spotless.They are simply the best!

Excellente adresse.....

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de cette très belle villa. Le descriptif de l'annonce correspond parfaitement , c'est une villa spacieuse, très bien équipée, une vue magnifique et aussi très bien située pour visiter Madère ..Magnifique, reposant, je recommande cette adresse et cette très belle île.

Une superbe maison sur une superbe île

Nous avons séjourné du 05 au 12/04/2018 dans cette superbe villa. Nous étions 7 personnes (4 adultes et 3 ados). La villa est à l'image de toutes les photos ! De plus, la vue sur l'océan est vraiment un pur bonheur. Je recommande vivement cette villa; vous ne serez pas déçus. Premier séjour à Madère et certainement pas le dernier. Un vrai coup de foudre pour cette petite île : la situation géographique, le climat, la bonne nourriture, la gentillesse des habitants et surtout la propreté autant dans les villes que dans les montagnes ... j'ai l'impression que Madère attire un tourisme respectueux et c'est très agréable. Bref, une petite merveille au milieu de l'Atlantique. Le secret d'un séjour réussi : vous louez la villa de Bill et vous visitez sans modération Madère !

SUPERBE

La maison répond à toutes les attentes: de l'espace, des aménagements soignés et pour ne rien gâter une très bonne literie! La piscine est très agréable, et la vue sur le village et l'océan est magnifique, on ne s'en lassait pas. Les indications fournies par Bill étaient très claires et nous ont bien aidé. Le petit magasin à quelques centaines de mètres dispose de tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très bon séjour. Nous étions huit, à l'aise. Nous ne sommes hélas restés que 12 jours, ce qui nous a semblé bien court. Pour couronner le tout, l'île est superbe. Un must (villa + île) à découvrir.
