The area wasn’t ideal nor what we expected, also the cleanliness of it was poor. Hair in the showers and leftover shower products on the walls in there. Just seemed very rushed to get people in there.
Unfortunately, our stay started out poorly. We received no instructions about where to park or how to get in. I had to ask for the entry code. I was given the wrong unit # so I disturbed a stranger. A woman who said she was the cleaner indicated the correct unit.The unit itself was fine but it seemed to have been just renovated (nice finishes but poor workmanship) since there was still construction dust on many surfaces. I had to ask for the wifi code and was given the wrong one the next day. There was no dining table so there was no where to eat. We were hoping to have dinner in a couple of nights but that wasn't possible. There were no spices, just some pepper. The lights were motion activated but only stayed on for a few seconds, not even minutes, before turning off again - very irritating. There was nowhere to hang jackets at the entrance. No night tables or dressers in the bedrooms. Nowhere to put your phone or book, nowhere to put your clothes.The property isn't central. It's in the North East quadrant of town, outside the ring road, about 20 minutes drive to downtown. On the positive side, the beds were very comfortable, the showers were great, the neighborhood is quiet (though run down), it's a short walk to groceries, pharmacy, and liquor store. Very close to the zoo.This place has the potential to be ok if the owner is willing to invest in necessary furnishings and bring it up a notch or three.
