Hotel was nice, love the different arts works on the walls. The bistro and bar in the hotel were quite nice, food was great. Nothing I dislike really, just not so spectacular.

Very nice hotel!

Posted 19-Mar-2017
Pros: The staff, the decoration, comfort, cleanliness
Cons: There was no fridge or mini bar in the room.
Location: Close to restaurants, shops and coffee shops.
We stayed for one night at this hotel in March 2017. The room was very spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and with a nice view of Calgary tower. The hotel is very close on foot to many restaurants and also close to one of the shopping malls. We had dinner at the Yellow door bistro (in the hotel) which was great! The hotel staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again next time.

Nice downtown hotel, close to saddledome

Posted 15-Mar-2017
Pros: location and beds
Cons: mini fridges in the rooms, hot tub available in winter, hallway to parkade elevator has stairs,
Location: downtown, close to shopping and restaurants
We were in town for a concert at the saddledome on a saturday night and chose to stay here. Rooms were great, beds were great, staff was great! Unfortunately, the pool is outdoor so closed in the winter. would be nice if there was still a hot tub available. hot tubbing outside in the winter (especially with a view) would be awesome but even a hot tub inside would be fine.

Hotel Arts

Posted 8-Mar-2017
Pros: Location, Clean and Upscale
Cons: No one pulling the fire alarm at 12:30 am
Location: I was taking a course at the Rec Facility just 10 blocks away so it was extremely convenient
The hotel is downtown on a one way so be prepared but it is that way downtown Calgary no matter where you stay. Close to everything but off the main downtown craziness. Make sure you bring nice clothes as the restaurant is a little upscale

Nice property near to downtown

Posted 1-Mar-2017
Cons: Up grade fitness room equipment. Silence the air conditioner in the room
Perfect location for walking to the business centre. Friendly welcome from staff. Great restaurant and bar. A little disappointed in the noisy air conditioning unit in the room.

Over rated hotel

Posted 26-Feb-2017
Pros: Room service was very good.
Cons: Alot
Location: Not the greatest location as most of Calgarys junkies and homeless people are around there.
Got into our room and it was freezing, then a few hours later a strong marijuana odor started lingering into the room. Called the front desk they moved us to another floor. Then in the newer room the heat didn't work, super loud neighbors until 4 am and just an awful experience. I would not recommend this hotel for peace and relaxation. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Sheraton or the Hyatt.
