Decent hotel

Posted 24-Jan-2017
Stayed for a hockey game. Great location for that and 10th ave! Also a good price. Staff were friendly but hot water was suspect. It was cold to warm at best. Woke up in the morning to fluff/fuzz floating around and on the bed and floor. Turns out there was a small hole in the duvet. I'd likely stay one more time as stuff happens, but if I had a similar experience with hot water & bedding I'd be looking elsewhere.

A iron and board would have been useful but otherwise great room and amenities.

Great Central Location

Posted 24-Dec-2016
We had never stayed in downtown Seattle, always in the burbs. We obviously didn't know what we were missing. I drive a lot for work, so we parked the car at the hotel and went everywhere on foot. You can do that from the "Five" because it is so central, and if you want to venture transit is close by. You can also use Uber, as Seattle, unlike Vancouver doesn't have their head in the sand and allows the service. The "Five" is a great place to stay, the restaurant serves great breakfast, the staff at the hotel are great, and those umbrellas priceless!

Great room!

Posted 12-Dec-2016
It was really comfortable. The fan of air condition is a little noisy. It might be the only defect.

Convenient

Posted 11-Dec-2016
Close to many restaurants and amenities downtown. Room was renovated and comfortable. Walls are a bit thin and could hear the neighbors talking through the night and early morning. Would be. Ice if there weee water bottles in the room. Would definitely stay again though.

Niche hotel in the center of downtown

Posted 11-Dec-2016
Spent the night there for a friend's birthday, I was first off greeted with a free room upgrade. Check-in was fast and simple..rooms were very clean and spacious..the restaurants were great. I would recommend anyone that has business downtown to stay there

A Real work of Art.

Posted 26-Nov-2016
So very chique. So much art to admire -lives up to its name. Great meeting facilities and comfortable rooms. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. The bar is a great place to meet up with friends. Enjoyed my first visit to Calgary.

Comic show

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Pros: Easy to get to from the Stampede grounds.
We were in Calgary as vendors at the Comic Holiday Market show. After a long day standing on cement the Hotel Arts is a beautiful place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly upon our arrival, and the check out was easy. We like to eat at the Yellow Door Restaurant which has a wonderful chef and we are always welcomed by Sabastian.
