One problem after another
We were in town for a convention. When we got back after a long day to rest, the fire alarm goes off at 12:30 am. Hotel evacuated onto the cold streets for an hour. Find out from staff that it was an actual fire started in the staff area by one of the staff who ran out laughing before the alarm went off. Hotel room phone did not work, could only use it on speaker from the base. Hotel normally had non-mint products for guests who had sensitivities or allergies to mint, but could not find any in the hotel. An hour later we get our soap after one of the staff had to go out and buy some at Shoppers. Dined at the Yellow Door. Paid for our meal upon checkout. When our other rooms checked out a day later, staff argued with them saying we hadn't paid for the meal, even though they had the physical receipt and the one the hotel emailed us. We had to phone the hotel and triple confirm that it was paid after much arguing with the staff.
