Found the staff was not very receptive. Called to say I’d be late checking in and could hardly understand what operator was saying. Very low mumble. When I told her I couldn’t understand she yelled at me. The talk of someone handling phones should be very clear. And not get upset when customer doesn’t understand

Only stayed one night. Called twice for the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport only to have them drive by without stopping. Check in and out was quick with a friendly staff.

The hotel was good staff were very helpful Unfortunately if I would have known there were no dining eateries around This hotel would not have been my choice The location is poor especially if you do not have a car rental Fortunately there was another hotel next door that had a. Restaurant bar So I used this facility In future I will scope the area around the hotel I choose to make sure there are dining facilities within walking distance Other than that the hotel was quite nice and clean m

I've stayed here before,3 or 4 times now, this trip I booked in for 3 nights. My previous stays I felt it was what was to be expected of a Holiday Inn Express, good value for your dollar, clean, up to date, comfortable. But now there seems to have been an ownership change and it shows. Here are some of the things that upset me: 1. Returning to my room after a day of work I found the door was left open by the maid staff, the room was made up but no clean towels. I went down and notified the desk clerk, she made a note of it but nothing was done. no towels. 2. Stained towels, what appeared to be fresh blood on a pillowcase. My bed that was made with the top sheet on the outside of the duvet not protecting you from it. 3. a general sense of economies taking over, the hair dryers removed from the rooms, no OJ at the breakfast bar, an elevator that is out of service and appeared to have been for some time. I don't like to throw anyone under the bus but I do spend 70/80 nights a year on the road and there are to many other places to stay in Calgary to waste my money at this hotel.
