The guests above us were very noisy. When we notified the front desk they said they would warn them. Nothing changed. We called again and they said they would make them move. They did not. The staff at the front desk loed to us repeatedly and ignored the problem goping we would stop complaining, im assuming. Will not stay here ever again. All in all we got about 3 hours sleep. Awful experience.

The hotel was close to the zoo and the Calgary tower, but was far enough away to avoid the heavy downtown traffic.

Staff was excellent, very welcoming. Pool was a little dirty, but satisfied with our stay. Will stay in this property again, if visiting Calgary.

Disgusting hotel....our toilet was plugged and the person they sent up unplugged our toilet then washed off the plunger in our bathtub and walked down the hotel and into the levator with the plunger dripping!!!! Disgusting!!!!! Seriously....maybe carry a bucket with the plunger inside???

We have stayed here 3 times before in the past with no issue. What we like is the fact that a free "shuttle service" to and from the airport is offered. This last time, we arrived back from our trip around 11 pm after travelling all day. When we called for a shuttle they said to take a cab and they would reimburse the driver when we arrived at the hotel. They also mentioned that the boiler was not working and there would be no hot water. If that was an issue they could cancel the hotel room free of charge. We had parked our vehicle close to that hotel for the week with the idea of staying there the night we returned then driving home the next day. Once we arrived we decided not to stay due to no hot water available still. The hotel would not cover the cab ride as we decided to cancel our reservation. They said they had tried to notify us that day, yet no call or message was left on my phone. I realize that under normal circumstances a hotel will not cover a shuttle ride if the client was not going to use their hotel. However, the fact that this was a hotel issue, boiler issue, and we were not previously notified of that issue, I believe they should have covered the cost of the shuttle ride, cab ride, back. If I would have been told the shuttle ride would not have been covered, I'm sure I could have found a neighboring hotel that we could have stayed at and a shuttle ride provided free of charge. I paid the cab driver and we found a different hotel. Client lost.

I was witness to an emergency situation that thankfully turned out well for the person involved, due to the quick action of staff, especially a wonderful woman named Terry (kitchen staff). She took special care of this person before, during and after EMTs arrived, like she would a family member. After making sure this person would be o.k, Terry went right back to work making sure other guests had everything they needed. I think she deserves a paid day off. This hotel is lucky to have her, well done!

Quick overnight due to weather and having to drive to Calgary to catch a plane from yyc as the cold cancelled flights from yeg. Had no chance to use amenities but the room was nice.

I would like to say for the most part this was a great place to say. Only complaints I would have to say is the rooms are not sound proof at all I was woken up early both mornings due to being right next to where breakfast was served and i could here everyone dragging there chairs along the floor. The jetted tub taps were definitely faulty as they leaked water olalong the out skirt of the tub.
