Country oasis, new finishes with city convenience.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Play in the city of Calgary, and then refuel in your private yard space. Enjoy the stars out on the dock, make s’mores at your private fire pit, or cozy up with a book next to the fireplace. In the winter there is skating on the pond. Set up for a quick get away or long term home away from home.
The suite is located on the east side and is a ‘side’ walkout, complete with a private and secluded patio and yard space. There is plenty of living space as well as three comfortable bedrooms and a marble spa like bathroom.
There is a living area above the suite that is primarily comprised of sleeping quarters, with the main living area for the upper living quarters shifted west and are separate and not over the suite. While the activity above is limited, if one is uniquely sensitive, be advised that not all noise can be eliminated.

Getting together with family and friends!

We are already planning our return trip back next year!! Thank-you to Ev & her family for a stay that helped bring our family and friends together( including my elderly mother and her boyfriend) My husband cooked two major meals- prime rib and enchiladas. We had everything we needed! We are from Arizona- so we loved our morning walks and the weekend Farmers Market!

A little piece of paradise

Three bedrooms, two living spaces plus a great outdoor space. All the amenities in an immaculate space. Saw a deer the morning we left. We highly recommend this place if you are in the Calgary area.

Wonderful unit in peaceful setting, close to the city

This unit is spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The outdoor seating is wonderful, right next to the forest, so peaceful and green. Getting into town is a quick drive, traffic a breeze. Close by is a Walmart Supercentre. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend this unit!

Country Living

Ev and Stan were wonderful on-site hosts. This basement suite is bright and spacious. Although there is no oven, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make meals. I especially loved the Ninja Foodie! I’m buying one asap! There’s a nice patio for your use only. Shopping, restaurants and grocery stores are no more than an 8 minute drive away.

What a Blessing!

If I could rate these hosts 200% I would do so! Incredible people, property and amenities. These folks gave of their time and their fantastic suite(which feels entirely like it's own set apart home) to help us make our family gathering a massive success. Peaceful, quiet, with every convenience considered, in a beautifully designed and finished space, and yet only minutes to the city. We feel we are leaving with new friends, and it seems quite likely we will be back in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We had an excellent stay at this suite! Spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms. The common areas were comfortable and fit our family really well. We loved the outdoor space -- picnic table, firepit, covered area for patio furniture. We sat outside constantly. We enjoyed using the YMCA just minutes from the VRBO as well. Hosts were attentive and very friendly! So easy to work with. We really enjoyed our stay and would easily book this location again. Thanks for a great summer getaway!

You are definitely getting a bang for your buck in this area, open space, firepit, 3 bedrooms, Ev and Stan were very welcoming and friendly!! (Totally worth inviting them down for a drink!! Super friendly and has some great stories!!) 10/10 will be staying again!!!

Great place

It was a great place to stay close to Calgary and still have the feeling of being out in the country. The hockey rink was awesome and the kids loved playing outside. The hosts were quite and easy to communicate with via the app. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful retreat

I had a lovely stay at this property. The land is beautiful and the home has everything you need. Somehow it felt large yet cozy. It did not feel too big for one person but there would be lots of room to spread out if you had a family or group. I got to see lots of wildlife, spectacular night skies and the pond is so peaceful. There is not a stove/oven but they have a microwave, induction tops and a toaster oven. That is helpful to know when meal planning. I would definitely recommend this property for those looking to get out of the city.
