Was a great location, rooms were nice and clean. But Poor breakfast, and were not allowed to park on property, unless we paid a extra 20.00 per day, so had to find a street to park on. So never again.

Newly renovated so it’s quite nice, and our room was clean. Also had the continental breakfast which was actually good, you never know with some hotels. Just found it crazy you have to pay for parking and the rates were insane for stampede weekend. Also I have never booked a hotel that charges you for early check-in, so we opted out of doing that.

I don’t understand why this hotel has good reviews. It is old, dirty (stains all over tje curtains and walls) and it definitely needs renovations. We also had to wait 10 minutes each time we wanted to take the elevators. We do not recommend.

Checked in after midnight, was very difficult to gain access to the building. Used night bell a couple times, the second one was responded to. In the meantime I called from just outside the building which was never answered. It took over 5 minutes of trying to get in. Cudos to the Calgary taxis, who allowed us to wait in the car while we tried. When we did get in, the phone call, which was me ringing in for the last several minutes continued to ring at the front desk while we checked in. It went unanswered and I hung up while we were dealing with the checkin. Lol. The place was clean and other than that blip service was fine. Breakfast was ok, decent variety for a breakfast buffet style.
