Our room was larger than most. Though over looked car park. Lamp didn’t work. Hairdryer was broken. Pillows uncomfortable. Requested extra coffee and milk in the room, which never arrived. Food was “ok” for a smart hotel. ! Reception unattended on departure … had to wait to check out!! Overall unsatisfied.

Very good stopover on our way south
Lovely hotel. Well priced bar. We didn’t eat in the restaurant. Room clean. Bed a bit on the hard side for our liking. Lovely view over the golf course. Not brilliantly signposted if you don’t know the company that owns the hotel’s name as this is the biggest part of the signs. You get to the golf car park, turn right out of the car park and there’s the hotel!

Excellent hotel only 30 mins from the ferry terminal. Evening meal was excellent and breakfast was good for price. Room was well equipped for a family, clean, good mattresses and as an added bonus ours has a great view of the golf course.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel with nice views and very quiet. Lovely restaurant. Only issue was air con was noisy even on the lowest setting.

Breakfast only average, ran out of fresh fruit by 9am and one toaster between 54 rooms! Scrambled eggs cold and rubbery, greasy and fatty bacon, no sausages. Room was spacious and clean, staff helpful but sauna not working and restaurant closed. Great location for Calais, lovely golf course views, fantastic air con and shower. Separate wc to free up bathroom for other room guests. No English TV stations. Comfortable bed. Plenty of free car parking.

Really let down by the poor Wi-Fi which is just not acceptable in this age. Staff seemed to think lack of capacity was an acceptable excuse. Also bar was somewhat overpriced. Otherwise would have been a good stay.

Check in was awful, the young girl wasn’t very helpful & said the restaurant was full so I’d have to go into the city, when I said I was dining alone & asked if room service was an option she became quite rude.

A peaceful oasis with good quality food.
This hotel is our regular return stop over before boarding the Eurotunnel to the UK and hitting the M25. The staff are always very professional and helpful.

Rooms good but find somewhere else for dinner
OK, obviously better if you're a golfer but the doom are nice the hotel is well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's let down by the catering the food is alright but the restaurant is vastly overpriced for what is on offer (think mass catering wedding) and it's poorly configured for (a very average) breakfast leading to congestion. Overall just OK.

Stopped on our way from the Ferry to our holiday destination the next day. Lovely quiet hotel, very clean, friendly staff. Breakfast had lots of choice and was very nice. Drinks quite expensive though

I stayed last night with my daughter for one night. I was disappointed that in the junior suite the internet (WIFI) did not work for the duration of the time we were here. Despite several times resorting this to the reception. Furthermore, the coffee machine in the room was broken. On this occasion your hotel did not meet my expectations.

We had just done the relais and chateau tour of the wine region, staying in some beautiful hotels, we needed an extra night before driving back to the uk. Booked this very last minute and we were astounded! Clean, beautiful scenery, lovely bar and everything you could need! Feeling slightly ripped off by the other hotels! We will be back for sure. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Won't stay again
We booked this hotel as a stopover on our way back to Calais. We arrived at the hotel late afternoon, early evening only to be told that the restaurant was fully booked and we could not have a table. The nearest restaurants were a good half hours drive, which would have added another hour to what had already been a very long day. At about 7:15 walking past the hotel restaurant I could see many empty tables!! The room had a kettle but no tray of tea or coffee. When I ask reception for a tea tray I was given a paper cup with a tea bag in it. No I won’t be staying again.
