"The service was the best I have seen in my travels"
The service was genuine, friendly, very competent; every interaction was as good as I have seen anywhere in terms of the enthusiasm everyone has for their respective jobs. I was thrilled to stay there and will look to other Marriots more often as a result, thank you, Nick Gudewill

"Great hotel"
This is a beautiful hotel, heated pool and walking distance from the Pyramids. The food is great and the hotel is in process of being owned by Marriott. The only downfall is breakfast is not currently included in price.

"Great heated pool"
It was nice. I took a Cabana room beside the pool. As I was on a business trip, this meant I was able to swap between going for a swim and working on the laptop. Breakfast was nice - lots of choice. A bit overpriced though (up to $50!) A cheaper alternative is to simply go to café and purchase a couple of croissants. There are a number of restaurants in the building, but I only went to the Italian one. The Lebanese looked nice, but was very noisy and I needed to talk business, the café allowed smoking, which was unappealing to me, and I just didn't get round to looking at the Asian fusion one. The outdoor pool was great. It was heated, which is a big bonus as the whether was not that hot. I had a look at the gym which was very well laid out. The room was nice - though the lock on my pool-side door was broken. I should have asked to move room, but again, I was focussing on the work, so I couldn't be bothered. The internet was OK..... for Egypt. Around 1Mbit/s. But a bit too slow for some of the things i would like to do. on a business trip. I previously stayed in the JW Marriot which is 5 mins away. I think in general layout, I preferred the Marriot, which is also more family friendly. But the Marriot outdoor pool's weren't as convenient or as warm (in winter/spring).

"Convenient and Friendly Hotel Near the Airport"
The best reason to stay here is to be close to the airport which is only about 20 minutes away by taxi. The staff are friendly and helpful, but English is challenging for some of them. The room was clean except for some issues with the bathroom. The hose attachment to the toilet wasn't as clean as it should be and showering was quite challenging as the shower leaked all over the floor everytime I used it. Also, the toilet items were never replaced. You'd expect more than one tiny bar of soap for a five night stay. The breakfast buffet is good, but the almost the same items every day so a bit boring. I stayed here 5 nights and overall for the price it was a good choice, but I wouldn't pay more than $65-$75 US. This is more like a 3-4 star hotel.
