Our room was clean, big and had everything we needed. Loved the sharing cupboard were you could leave items that you didn't need anymore like food or toiletreies for other travelers to take. There are two big groceries within a 10 minutes walk in a big shopping centre. The reception was friendly and quick. The room was very spacious and clean, with everything you need to eat in if you prefer. We had a room on the third floor, which was very quiet, with an outlook over the pool. The area is very limited for eating out options, but the main shopping area is only a block away for supplies. All tour bookings could be done through the hotel which was seamless and the tours were great. A few areas of concern were the weekly cleaning was not great as the floors were still quite dirty and the bathroom toiletries were not restocked. Eventually a room was found overlooking the pool as we had requested a quiet room away from main road. We found outside lighting & early morning daylight intruded into the bedroom due to lack of block-out curtains (bedroom only has slim line venetian blinds). Oddly enough lounge room has blockout curtains! At checkout the next morning, a male receptionist was unable to advise if Hotels.com had been contacted re the booking error, although he did suggest "we were lucky not to have been out on the street" if City Terraces had not found a spare room. We felt his manner & attitude did not seem particularly professional. We have subsequently spoken to Hotels.com & it has been confirmed that this establishment verified our booking, so the error was neither Hotels.com or ours.
