This beautiful, 4th-floor apartment, flooded with light, is elegant and peaceful with clean and contemporary design .It has wooden floors, custom-fitted wooden interior shutters, and first-rate air conditioning/heating throughout. The kitchen comes entirely equipped with premium Silestone counters, an easy-to-clean induction cooker, dishwasher, large refrigerator, oven, microwave, washing machine and nespresso machine. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment over the patio of an 18th century convent. Absolute tranquility and natural light. All mattresses are new and premium quality; as are the pillows and the natural 100% cotton bedding. The master bedroom has a large King-size bed (160 x 200 cm) .The second bedroom has two European singles (90 x 200 cm). Both bedrooms have spacious, custom built wardrobes and excellent blinds. The bathroom is finished with traditional Spanish-tile floor, a large shower, designer basin resting on a custom built cabinet with two big drawers. The location itself is also unbeatable. Situated on the short, pedestrian street called Calle Compañía, with the monumental Cathedral plaza at one end, and the quaint flower-market plaza and local food market with tapas bars, at the other. Countless other monumental squares, churches, ramparts, and buildings are only a few minutes walk; so too are the endless succession of excellent tapas bars, restaurants, and taverns that make Cadiz famous. Just 150 metres from the front door is the impressive seawall walk and bikepath with incredible, sweeping views of the Atlantic. Nous avons souvent séjourné dans différentes villes en Europe et l'appartement de Carmen a été le meilleur au niveau géographique, confort des lits, agencement des lieux , équipements, et aussi conseils de Carmen (les bons restaus, les soirées Flamenco,...). Cadix est une ville qu'il faut découvrir absolument si l'on projette un voyage en Andalousie. Outre les villes incontournables (Séville, Cordoue et Grenade), Cadix est une ville moyenne où les gens sont très sympathiques, le centre piéton très agréable, la plage à cinq minutes à pied. We were impressed by how modern and well-designed the apartment was. The location is perfect — since we were just steps from the cathedral we spent so much time hanging out in the plaza, getting coffee and tostada, etc. as well as wandering around the city. The price was very reasonable to! The one suggestion I have for the host is to provide more detailed information about how the door/gate system works. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! It is in a perfect location above a busy pedestrian street, where you can watch the world go by, and it is very close to historic sites and the sea wall and beaches. The apartment is well equipped with all kitchen utensils and an array of condiments for cooking. However with an an amazing choice of restaurants and tapas bars nearby, we did not find the need to cook. The living room was a nice space to reax on the evening. The beds were comfortable and despite its location in the heart of city, it was very quiet and peaceful at night. Carmen was a perfect host, great communication and detailed instructions on how to access the apartment. Don't miss the view of the Cathedral from the rooftop 5 th floor. We stayed 3 weeks to enjoy the area and lovely weather. We took daily walks by the sea wall and would then stop for a beer and tapas at one of the great restaurants. We are foodies and this was a great place to stay. Carmen was very helpful and called the clinic for us regarding Covid tests since we wanted to make sure we understood how it would work. We would suggest two items to add to the apartment: an extra set of sheets for long term renters and a large mixing bowl. ##### Christine M. Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal in dieser Ferienwohnung zu Gast, wie auch beim ersten Mal war alles wunderbar. Uns hat es gut gefallen, die Wohnung war sauber, die Ausstattung ist gut. Mitten im Zentrum, aber auch nah genug zum Bahnhof, zum Strand per Fußweg. Man findet (bis auf Eierbecher) alles was man so In einer Wohnung braucht. Schön wäre eine Ergänzung um ein bisschen Strand-Equipment wie Sonnenschirme, Strandstühle, damit man dieses nicht jedes Mal neu kaufen und zurück lassen muss. Eine Mitnahme im Flugzeug ist ja leider nicht mehr möglich, und vor Ort findet man diese Dinge schwer ohne ein Auto in der Nähe zu kaufen.. Unseren Sonnenschirm ließen wir diesmal zurück, das letzte Mal die Strandstühle. Diese waren aber leider nicht mehr da. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Wohnung guten Gewissens uneingeschränkt empfehlen! ##### Claudia .. We could not have asked more in terms of the location and Carmen has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and easy to manage in every way. We loved Cadiz with all its history and vibrant street scenes to say nothing of the beaches and the great food. We found travelling around on public transport easy and relatively cheap. We visited El Puerto, Rota, Sanlucar, Jerez and Arcos de la Frontera. We also spent many hours enjoying the sights in Cadiz.
