Close to Plaza Mayor and major sites.
Wonderful town lots to see and do. Go during the festival time to experience the spanish traditions.

Shame about the decor
For the price, I had a reasonable experience here. The rooms were clean, however the decor throughout is a sick green with a motley collection of furniture throughout the common areas. The car park is underneath the hotel and extremely tight to get into - don't attempt it if you have a large car! Staff friendly and helpful if somewhat slow. I wouldn't return merely because I found the paintwork so off-putting. It is very reasonably priced though and other than sartorially I didn't experience any discomfort.

Conveniente y agradable
Sólo una noche en mi camino a Madrid. Del hotel agradable y la habitación cómoda. Caminando un par de minutos llegas a la Plaza Mayor, plena de restaurantes y una vista espectacular. Tiene aparcamiento propio pero por su portón sólo pasan vehículos chicos o medianos con algo de cuidado.

Muy agradable, muy cerca de la plaza mayor, se puede aparcar en la puerta, tiene estacionamiento pero nuestra camioneta no pasaba por la puerta, nos tocó una habitación al frente con un pequeño balcón y una vista muy linda a los antiguos edificios. Desayuno muy bien, un pequeño buffet, con lo necesario. Tiene un patio grande con naranjos. La puerta se cierra a las 10 y te dan una llave para entrar.

We spent two nights in Hostal San Miguel. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was the cleanest accommodation we had on our two week roadtrip and it also had the most beautiful interior. The breakfast, a very important meal for us as we spent the whole day outdoors hiking etc, was ample but lacked in salty "substance" being mostly sweet cakes, churros etc. but there was some fruit and enough coffee. The only minus was that the heater in the room smelled bad when on so we didn't use it after the first dose of the "aroma". Would still highly recommend this one for anyone.

El Hostal, en general, está muy bien situada y cuidada. Pero en concreto la habitación 302 tiene una disposición de camas incorrecta. La cama de matrimonio sin ningún punto de luz hace incómoda la estancia. A pesar de ser una habitación grande el cuarto de baño es incómodo por el tipo triangular y pequeño de la ducha y no tiene bidé.

El Hostal San Miguel es un sitio muy agradable para dormir en Trujillo. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y limpias y el servicio es de 10. Lo recomendo para personas que no se quieren gastar una fortuna en el alojamiento.
