The kitchen is beautiful. We spent a lot of time in there. The claw foot tub in downstairs bathroom was not used. Not easily accessible for my mom and aunt as they are in their 70’s. Its great for families with children or for adult getaways and it has all you need. If you like to cook its wonderful as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The hardware store/bar and local market is close enough that you can run out if you need anything. The views are spectacular and I would highly recommend this cabin in any season. The loon family was wonderful to observe. We swam, fished, canoed. The house is so comfy and spacious. The kitchen has everything you can ever want!! The views over the pond are amazing and we could enjoy them from the house, or the yard, or the tiny island. They loon calls were a highlight. It was quiet while we were there, just a couple people out on canoes or kayaks. You can hear cars on the road by the house, but it is very lightly traveled. The kitchen area was so spacious and well equipped to entertain twelve people on Christmas Eve. Everyone was delighted with this choice of property to have a family Christmas. Highlights included kayaking in the reeds, the loons’ noghtly chorus, and reading my book on the little island in the sun the last day.
