Summary:
Welcome to The Palms #9, a luxurious condo located right on the pristine white-sand shores of Playa Flamingo — one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica.

The Space:
This two-bedroom unit is in a secluded, exclusive community of private condos that provide our guests with fabulous resort-style amenities, including two sparkling swimming pools, complimentary kayaks and paddle boards, a fitness center, gated parking, and 24/7 security.

The Palms #9 is a two-story unit with a spacious open-concept design. The downstairs includes a living room, a kitchen, a dining area, a shaded terrace, and a bathroom, and the master bedroom and second bedroom are both upstairs. This condo can comfortably accommodate six guests but can be combined with The Palms #8 — one of our other units — to sleep a total of 12 guests under one roof!

The unit is decorated with a modern, coastal design, with minimalist chairs, a white linen couch, a sleek coffee table, and nautical blue and white decor in the living room. The living room opens to a beautiful shaded terrace overlooking the beach, furnished with an outdoor dining table and a couch.

In the kitchen, guests will find elegant granite countertops, wood cabinets, and convenient appliances, including an oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and refrigerator. The kitchen and living room are divided by a circular dining table with seats for up to six guests.

The upstairs master bedroom is spacious and well-decorated, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a TV, high ceilings, and wood furniture. The bedroom opens to a furnished balcony overlooking the infinity swimming pool and the beach. It is also connected to a master bathroom, which offers a bathtub, walk-in shower, and marble tile and countertops. The second bedroom offers one queen bed, one double bed, and a TV, as well as a private balcony and a connected bathroom with a walk-in shower.

No pets policy

Please note that this property is not pet-friendly due to house and condominium rules. No exceptions will be made, and emotional support animals are not permitted. If guests arrive at check-in with pets that have not been verified and approved, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
The Palms is a luxury gated community in a class of its own, and is among the most exclusive vacation lodging available anywhere near Flamingo. Just a few steps from the beautiful Flamingo Beach, the Palms combines spectacular views with 24/7 security and a delightful sense of privacy.

The Palms Private Residences are located at the far southern end of the dazzling Playa Flamingo, on a delightful and remote beach. Gorgeous swimming pools, palm trees, manicured grass and flower gardens begin at the very edge of the tide line. All tenants here have a front-row seat 24/7 to the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean, with interior furnishings and finishings that are second to none.

Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.
Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.

Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.

We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.

The Palms - Absolutely the best place to stay

Ist time to Costa Rica. The palms was by far the best place to stay down there. The Concierge staff were so helpful booking adventures, ordering food and taking care of us with anything we needed. The resort was beautiful and the beach was white and the water was blue. Cannot wait to return!!

Beachfront relaxation

Location, location, location! One of the very few beachfront accommodations in this part of CR. The condo/ villa was great, the pool/ grounds/ access to beach even better. Only knock is the complex had additional services/ amenities we had to discover on our own: poolside bar, nearby restaurant that delivers, on site gym/ fitness center, available beachside massage, borrowable oceantoys such as SUPs & boogie boards.

Amazing Trio!

We had a fabulous stay at the Palms. The location is ideal. It is great combo of VRBO with great service. The pool is not crowded and has a really nice bar. The beach is beautiful and so accessible. The staff at Special Places of Costa Rica made our stay even better. We were able to book great excursions and transportation was taken care of along with the addition of a golf cart for local transportation which was waiting for us when we arrived. We can’t wait visit again and tried to make our stay longer but everything was already booked. ENJOY!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff very knowledgeable and reliable. However the management company was very disappointing. We were not told of any ammenities or protocols of the property. Any questions we had required multiple attempts before we were answered. Reservations we were told we had did not always exist. I would highly recommend the property for rental as long as they changed management companies
