"The only thing good about this place was the pool. Staff kept hustling for money, that was the only way to get a table at the nicer restaurants. Of course it was great it was Mexico but that really put a damper on the vacation. Also there was a problem with room 3007 it was in livable and had a mold problem. Only way for a different room was 1000 dollar upgrade to the room by the ocean. I love Cabo but I will never stay here again. My clothes smelled musty when I got home had to wash three times to get the smell out. Thanks Rui Sante Fi but no way. I’ll stay somewhere else next time! Airing my suitcases out because they smell like the musty room"

"The photos of this property on Expedia are VERY deceptive. Based on those, we booked a room for nearly $500/night, expecting to stay in the buildings with 5 pools as advertised. Instead we were dumped in side buildings with access to much smaller pools. Our room overlooked a parking lot and hostel. The front desk staff- including the “supervisor”- were completely unhelpful and unapologetic. We asked for a refund which they would not grant, sent us back to Expedia. Expedia tried to contact the manager but they there were none available (at 4:30pm!). We elected to check out rather than stay there and have not yet heard if we will get a refund. Very dishonest advertising and inappropriately high charge for a room with a disgusting view, nothing like what was expected. Do NOT recommend this property at all. "

"Solmar resort and their stuffs really care about customer’s satisfaction, you always can ask for customization according to your need and they’ll do that for you without hesitation! Nice & clean room, even though I booked a studio they upgraded me to a suite without asking and any extra fees! I had all inclusive: Food was delicious and the best part was their breakfast! Pool was clean and enjoyable! You can’t complain…"

"Nice location on the harbor. We stayed on the hotel side, our friends stayed on the condo side. It was nice to have access to the pool, but our friends did not. The hotel bars were more expensive compared to bars across the street. I thought the staff was pushy selling you upgrades, but that's what they do."

"The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I had a little kitchenette that was well-accoutered. It is conveniently located to most establishments, but is off the main drag, so it's quieter. There is a restaurant next door that can get loud, but they don't go late into the night."
