"The house was wonderful, perfect for our group of 14. With a media room, pool and foosball tables, well-appointed kitchen, and the pool and beach right there, it was all we hoped for. The host responded quickly to a few inquiries during and after our stay. We look forward to returning!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights the last week of June. The weather was beautiful, though surprisingly very hot! The house was located in a cute town in the southern outer banks. It is not super touristy, but we enjoyed the quietness of the location. The neighbors were quiet in the early mornings and late evenings and were all friendly. The beach is recently re-opened and is a very short 3-5 minute walk, though careful for the prickers in the grass between the condos (wear shoes). The waves are also very big and brutal, so beware! The house was perfect! It was a cute two story and when you were in the bedrooms, you could not hear people on the first floor. It is a condo, but you could not hear the neighbors either. We had no issues with the condo, and the check in/out instructions were very clear. The only thing that was not clearly put in the listing is that the pool is not on the property. It is a little less than 10 minutes down the street. The picture makes it appear as though it is located on the immediate property. Still close enough to come and go as needed if necessary, but easy to make trips to it. We will definitely be back, and I will be referring friends and family to this location in the future! "

"My family had a wonderful time at Pelican. It was our first time staying in Buxton as well and the extra drive time was well worth it! Everything was beautiful inside and out, decor and amenities! The welcome package from vacasa was very handy and appreciated. The beds were all different comfort levels and fit each of us perfectly, we slept very well! We had fun on the beach every single day, it was a fabulous location! Only thing we suggest is to replace the light by the outdoor shower as we believe was burnt out and made showering in the evening pretty difficult. Also need to beware the sandburs in the grass are painful you must have shoes on at all times and definitely have to remove before going upstairs so they don’t get caught in the carpet. Might help if the grass was kept short there would at least be less of them. Overall it was 10/10 thank you!!"
