Ideal for walkers and cyclists as there is the former railway line that links places of interest and enables you to enjoy the dales. The hosts Andrew & Tricia are friendly and charming. The rooms are spacious and spotless with tea making facilities. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choice. The Old Vicarage's decor reflects its history and is cosy and tasteful. The Old Vicarage B&B was a wonderful place to start our first visit to The Peak District. The location was great as it was very central for the area. The nice couple running it takes good care of you and the place is cosy, clean and the breakfast is well cooked to your liking and with a tasty fresh fruit salad with yoghurt first. The car can be parked in the courtyard. We arrived in the afternoon and was offered a cup of tea and delicious cake in the stunning garden of the beautiful period house. The whole stay was a total joy with such lovely hosts, delicious breakfasts, helpful information and a large, well equipped room with a gorgeous view over the garden.
