The place is just as advertised. It is a small cabin on the same lot as the Mercantile, which is a small convenience store+bar, and is run by the same very friendly and helpful lady. It is a cabin, not a hotel room, but if you're expecting a cabin it will meet expectations. It is one block from Bambii Inn. Food is a bit of an issue in the spring on weekdays, there is nothing to buy after 5pm, but Stacy at the Mercantile stayed open later than her closing time to make us a pizza which saved us a long drive back to Chico for food.
