Surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains and only 10 minutes away the Continental Hiking trail. Lots of 4- wheeler trails to explore and 15 minutes from small lake that is great for kids. The log interior gave that rustic, cozy feel and the leather oversize plush chairs and couch in the living space made relaxing oh so comfortable. The kitchen was spacious (new looking countertops) and the beds were divine! We loved the profound silence and enjoyed views of cattle grazing peacefully in the meadows. Hosts Betty and Smiley met us off the interstate, guided us to the cabin, and showed us around. Be prepared for an 8ish mile drive up a pothole riddled road. The cabin was well appointed with everything you need and was a quiet escape during the An Ri Ra festival. I loved drinking coffee on the raised deck in the morning watching the grazing cows.
