The location and altitude of about 300m on the sea level, guarants a mild and agreeable climate in every season. It lies in a panoramic location, around 1,5 Kms from the town of Buti. It is a very quiet location and it offers also a lot of privacy to the tenant. In front of the house there is a terrace equipped with table and chairs to eat outdoor, to cook there are also at disposition a barbecue and a stoneoven. The 10x4 meter pool is for private use of the tenant. From both the terrace and the pool area you can enjoy of a fantastic panoramic view on the surrounding hills and the village of Buti. In the town of Buti there are all the necessary shops and different restaurants/pizzeria/bars. Adviced restaurants/pizzeria's: Al vecchio molino, Le mangiatoie da Tormento, Trattoria Pacci, La Grotta, I maggi. It is an ideal departing point to visit the most beautifull cities of Tuscany, for a day at the beach (30 Kms from the villa) or in the mountains (the mountain of Abetone 1400-1900 meters high is 80 Kms far away, in the winter it is also possible to ski there). Nearest golf clubs: Cosmopolitan golf (18 holes situated near Pisa), Tirrenia Golf Club (9 holes situated near Pisa), Fontevivo golf club (9 holes situated near Pisa), Golf Club Castelfalfi (18 hole, situated near Florence), Poggio de' Medici golf (18 hole, situated near Florence), Le Pavoniere golf (18 hole, situated near Prato). Access road: Please note that the road from Buti to the house (in total 1,5 km) has 500 meters of steep road with 3 hairpin turns and 900 meters of gravel road. So we don't suggest to come with sport cars or caravans. Except Ferrari and other similar sports cars, no problem to ride up with other cars. The road is one lane for 700 meters and narrower for the last 200 meters. If you cross another car, one of those must return to the first available space. The road is used by the owners / guests of 5 houses, so it is a road with little traffic. The driver must have a minimum of familiarity with the car maneuvers. Dogs: Dogs are welcome, the tenant has to check that the furniture is not damaged, remove the droppings and prevent them from digging holes or enter in the pool. The garden is fully fenced (fence suitable for midsize and bigger dogs). Additional charge: 25 euro for each dogs. If you want to bring more then 2 dogs enquiry before booking. The whole property is for your exclusve use. HOUSE (whole for your private use): Ground floor: kitchen, dining room, living room / bedroom, bathroom with shower. First floor: bedroom with double and single bed, bathroom with tub, single bedroom, double bedroom with toilet. Von dort hat man einen wunderschönen, weitschweifenden Ausblick. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und bietet ausreichend Platz für 7 Personen. Von der mit Wein überwachsenen Terrasse gelangt man über einen Weg zum Pool, von dem man ebenfalls einen wunderschönen Ausblick hat. Das Haus liegt günstig, um sowohl Lucca als auch Pisa, Livorno, Florenz und die Strände zu besuchen. Die Vermieter sind angenehm im Umgang, unkompliziert zu erreichen und hilfsbereit, insbesondere um am Anfang die örtliche Orientierung (Supermarkt etc.) zu erhalten. Die Kinder haben es genossen, auf dem Grundstück am Hang zu spielen. Es waren wunderschöne Ferien in Italien! ##### Florian D. Das Haus ist einfach aber stilgerecht ausgestattet. Die weinüberdachte Terrasse ist neben dem Pool ein wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen. Der Host ist sehr freundlich, kommunikativ und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Wochen...man muss die Abgeschiedenheit allerdings mögen und Mückenschutz mitbringen! ;-) ##### Markus E. Buti is off the normal tourist track but is within easy access of Lucca and Pisa. The house is beautiful, very spacious with incredible views down over the village. All the rooms are a good size . The pool was as in the photos and very enjoyable to relax on a hot afternoon. Caterina met us in the village and lives just up the road so was always around to assist us when we needed it. The house itself if around 2km from the village up a very winding road. It’s a “interesting” drive and one that that you will get used to after a couple of journeys. All part of the Italian experience!! If you want to unwind in a beautiful setting then this is a great place. We spent most evenings in the village which has some amazing restaurants all serving sensational local dishes. The pick of the bunch is Al Vecchio Molino which is on the outskirts of the village. La Grotto is also very good and ask for a seat in the upstairs garden if you get the chance. Every morning we went down to the local Piazza for a coffee at Cafe Garibaldi. Most evenings we joined the locals for an aperitivo in the square. If you want to experience a real Italian village without hordes of tourists, then this is a great choice.
