Wyndarra is a truly remarkable estate—built in 1917 and meticulously preserved—offering a rare blend of historical grandeur and contemporary comfort. The spacious home unfolds across two levels and includes five beautiful bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a powder room. A formal sitting room doubles as a library, while the grand dining room opens into a sun-drenched north-facing sunroom perfect for lazy afternoons. The heart of the home is the commercial-style kitchen, complete with a walk-in pantry and scullery, and flowing directly into a courtyard with a woodfired pizza oven—ideal for long dinners and slow living. The home also features a dedicated office space, multiple fireplaces, hydronic panel heating, and captivating period details throughout. Surrounded by Pinot Gris and Riesling vines, fruit trees, and pasture, Wyndarra invites you to experience Tasmania’s Derwent Valley at its most timeless and generous.

A car is essential to make the most of this regional location. Hobart is less than an hour’s drive, and nearby New Norfolk offers local shops, cafés, and amenities. The scenic drive through the Derwent Valley makes every journey part of the experience.
