I felt totally comfortable at The Guinness Arms. The room was lovely, a little compact ( I enjoyed hearing the owl at night!) and had great facilities with a coffee machine but no kettle. Breakfast was a real highlight. We will definitely be staying again, super close to the town centre of Bury St Edmundā€™s, just a 15 min drive which was ideal for us!
