Great spot, bad farmhouse. Pretty clean, with nice updated bathrooms but otherwise kind of shabby. Access through hot, ugly utility room into cramped kitchen with worn linoleum floor sets the tone. Very little closet space, no central air- just 3 tiny window shakers with extension cords hanging taut in the walkway around the bed. I bought them an appliance extension cord to avoid kicking the old one out of the room's single outlet every time I got in or out of bed. Nice big deck overlooking the beautiful shaded lawn but no shade on the deck, which abuts the unwashed, paint-peeling house. Super convenient location off Hwy 19 but still on a broad, (relatively) deep part of the river.
A 3/5 review is not a negative review, but there are definitely some challenges.
