The location of the resort is much more remote than we thought. It’s a 20-30 min drive just to get gas or any groceries. The house itself - Villa Blue - sits atop a VERY steep hill. Certainly not for the faint of heart. Don’t plan to keep your boat or trailer at the house. Again, house was very nice and people were professional, but would not stay there again due to location of both the resort and home. ##### David N. We decided on Burnside since it was about the same distance for each family to meet (midwest/southeast). The cabin included everything we needed and plenty of space for three families with small kids. The kids loved walking down to the lake and hiking back up the hill. We mainly ate at the cabin, but there are lots of restaurants around. We went to the lake, rented a pontoon, hiked to the natural arch, and played mini golf. The wifi was fast and tvs had cable and all the apps. The view was beautiful!! We went on some great hikes - Cumberland Falls was really cool. Kids had fun with the hot tub, pool table, and cornhole set. Not very much light pollution and the stars were great. ##### Laura S. Clean and comfortable. It does take about 20 minutes to get to the house from the main road and the roads were curvy. It was fine for us, but others may want to know that. The only critique I had was that the mattresses on the beds weren’t very comfortable. If those were upgraded or a mattress topper was added, it would be perfect!
