Lake views from every room. Please keep in mind water at our dock fluctuates with different weather conditions. Lake levels are out of our control, currently our lake is FULL. There are parks, caverns, and areas very close by to enjoy your stay at the lake. Plus, you’ll have beautiful views that will be there. This gorgeous, modern remodeled 2,500 sq. ft.4 bed, 3 bath home is located on Lake Buchanan and boasts beautiful views of the lake from every room. It's the perfect getaway for your family, anyone who likes to fish, go boating, kayaking, or even if you just want a little peace and quiet getaway. Follow the beautiful walkway (made from rocks mined in our yard and locally) in our backyard to access the lake. Maybe you'd prefer hanging out under any of our large oak trees on the property. Where ever you choose to be, you're sure to enjoy your stay. Closeby, you'll find venues, trails, Spider Mountain, and other attractions. When you walk in you will be captivated by views of the lake. Follow the bamboo floors through the main floor area to find a full size guest bathroom, large living room and open concept kitchen. Great areas for entertaining guests and a kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and much more. Everything you'll need to cook a nice meal. You will also find the large master bedroom with views of the lake and a comfy king bed in the master. It has a connecting private bathroom that reminds us of going to the spa. With its beautiful atmosphere you're sure to feel right at home! It has a large soaking tub, shower, and separated sinks. We have a washer and dryer available for your use on the main level. When you're done eating inside and want to take in the fresh air, walk out on our large patio deck where you can watch the sun rise or even sunset, so relaxing. Walk upstairs to find 2 more bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub/ shower combo and 2 sinks. The first bedroom is great for your family. It has a full size bed and bunk beds, too. You'll find beautiful views of the lake from the windows. The second bedroom has 1 queen size bed and 2 twin beds with gorgeous views of the lake. Can you imagine waking up and looking out the window to see the water? It's marvelous! Walk downstairs from the main floor and find the 4th bedroom with a daybed and Cabinet queen sleeper, along with a large TV, ping pong/ billiards table. We can accommodate 4 people on the bottom floor also. 2 outdoor porches, plus a flagstone patio to enjoy the outdoors. \- Sleeps up to 14 \- family -friendly (we have games and DVDs for adults and the kids) a ping pong/ billiards table. \- washer/ dryer access for stays over 4+ nights \- non-smoking home (you are welcome to smoke out front passed the oak trees or on the lower porch area near the water there is a receptacle for your trash) \- pet- free home (no sign of pets or smoking or you will be charged an extra $250 minimum penalty fee for cleaning + other damages- such as but not limited to replacing scratched flooring, pet odor, pet accidents, etc...) \- STARLINK Wi-Fi- NOW available and updated \- smart tv so you can watch DVDs, Netflix, etc… \- outdoor grill- ours is the gas one on the balcony \- outdoor seating \- public boat ramp just down the road so you can access the water \- dock- lake levels can fluctuate: disclaimer: we cannot control lake levels, however, you’ll always have the views and can enjoy kayaking if you choose from our backyard. \- we offer the opportunity to rent our kayaks or paddleboard for a small fee. \- open parking on the driveway or at the top of the hill \- 3 night min. Stay March- October; 4 night min. stays during holidays; 2 night min. stay from November - February except holidays; ask if you have a particular request you'd like us to consider accomodating. The living room was very comfortable for hanging out, and having separate HVAC systems for each floor was a big plus—it kept the house comfortable throughout. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with.That said, there were a few drawbacks. The grill was messy and difficult to use precisely, and there was no speaker setup for music (no Bluetooth or Sonos). WiFi was very slow, which made streaming or working difficult. The downstairs level felt a bit disconnected from the rest of the house, and there was no soap in the showers when we arrived. Kitchen utensils were also pretty limited, which made cooking a little more effort than expected.All in all, it was a good stay with some room for improvement. We are a large family of 12 total and there was plenty of space for everyone to crash when they were there. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will ever need. I was pleasantly surprised to find a water cooler to be able to use even though we brought tons of water bottles. Beds are comfortable and so are the linens. Internet is horrible so take advantage of her DVD collection and bring some from home. We spent lots of time playing games, swimming in the lake, fishing and watching movies. Communication with host was top notch. The property host was always super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We loved the house. It is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake that takes your breathe away when you first walk in. The location is perfect too. We spent most of our time floating in the water, a stones throw from the house, or sitting on the back porch chatting. We didn’t turn on a TV the entire stay. We also utilized the proximity of the property to other hill country favorites, hiking up about an hour north to Colorado Bend state park for a morning hike to Gormon Falls and also grabbing BBQ at the famous Coopers BBQ in Llano, tx about 45 minutes west. We definitely hope to be back one day with more kids in tow to enjoy the water! ##### Calvin M. The place was very clean and accommodated us all well. Beds were comfy and kitchen was nice for cooking some meals in. The lake views are gorgeous! All of the added kid/family stuff such as the pack and plays, high chair, and toys were a huge plus for our group. The older kids and adults had fun on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. This home was perfect for us! Plenty of room for 8 adults (4 couples) 6 kiddos (7 months to 5 years old). It was a challenge to follow the septic rules of no toilet paper with the little ones, but we managed. Bring a pop up tent to hang out on the dock! ##### John G. Had a great view to enjoy coffee off the balcony. Wish the kayaks and Paddle boats came with the price of the stay since there is a 3 night minimum. A deck spanning the width of the house is a great outdoor space overlooking the lake. The steps down to the dock require good balance and careful stepping. We used the kayaks and paddle boat. Swimming off the dock was great fun for all of us. The A/C went out on one hot night so we had to relocate 4 adults and 4 children downstairs.. Fortunately, we had brought an inflatable mattress and that was a big help.
